Hi!  I'm new here.. a friend sent me the link to your dress, and I instantly was in love!  I drove myself down to the salvation army and picked up a couple shirts.  I made mine for my 8 going on 9 year old.  The only problem I ran into was the shirt sleeves.  I ended up using the length of the shirt sleeve (I had bought long sleeve, as I couldnt get the short ones cheap, lol) and improvised.  It actually worked out pretty well! I didn't want to attempt the pleating, so I just sewed on some satin ribbon.

I'd love to have shot some pics of her (i'm a photographer) but it went from 94 yesterday to below 60 today!
