11  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Altered Spool Swap (SIGNUP 5/18/14-5/25/14 ; MAIL BY 6/18/14)- 5 SPOTS LEFT on: May 20, 2014 09:15:18 PM
Sent my questionnaire in; I hope I made it!  All this talk of wooden spools makes me think I should try to find some.  There's a big building around here that's something of an antique flea market; I could probably find some in there!

Wow, koalascout!

I went to Target to get my can, but they were completely out of plain old Original Pringles!  Undecided  So I'm taking that as a sign to sit this one out.  (There are *so many* swaps that I am interested in right now!)

I don't know either. Somewhere in Europe or around (but not in) Washington DC could be nice, I suppose, but I'm actually quite happy where I am now.

I'm thinking about this!

I would definitely get a box.  I've received stuff-in-a-pringles-can before, shipped just wrapped in a polymailer, and the can was pretty beat up. I would hate for that to happen here!

I would be up for this!

Oh, I think I might have spun on mine last weekend at MDSW!  I always keep an eye out for right-flyer saxonies, because they're so rare and I know I'd need a right one as I already twist that way sometimes on upright/castle wheels. Carolina Homespun had a 30" right flyer Schacht-Reeves (which, incidentally, is also one of my friends' dream wheels), so I finally got to try a right flyer saxony and it was wonderful... (my husband agreed too!)  But it's *the* most expensive of the major wheels.  (Lendrum also makes a right-side flyer saxony, but has a years long waiting list, and I can't justify a custom wheel yet, though I could probably get one for about the same price as a Schacht-Reeves.)
17  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: One Tiny Surprise Thing Round 2 Gallery on: April 29, 2014 10:35:48 PM
I received my tiny surprise thing from pinkdelia yesterday.  It's a Teesha Moore-style ornament/wall hanging!  I love it!  This will have a happy home in my craft room.   Cheesy Thank you, pinkdelia!

18  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Altered Puzzle Pieces, Round 8 Gallery on: April 29, 2014 08:01:56 PM
Here are my French (so colorful!) and Spanish (so glittery!) pieces from IsikkahJai!

I'd love to do another round as soon as you're ready, Jill!  (And if anyone wants to swap pieces on the side before then, just PM me!)

I'm definitely going to be signing up for this!

I've received some beautiful pieces over the last week!

From seeuudee:

Elegant text flowers with German for my languages/writing puzzle and a lacy piece for my warm colors puzzle!

From vincentvanbuck:

French, and Euskara, which I'd not even heard of before!

From stillatthetop:

Italian overlaid with roses and shorthand (so cool!)

Thank you all! I love them!
