i received from my awesome partner Viciouskittie today!! I absolutely love it!  I told her I wanted a Frida shrine and that's what I got!!  The pic doesn't do it justice. the entire front is hinged so you can open it up (and put stuff for Frida on the leopard print floor!). i didn't get a good angle on the camera but there are two cute skulls up at the top corners. and the big Frida in the middle is not flush w/ the back; she sticks out but it's hard to tell in the photo. anyway, i love it!!! thanks Viciouskittie - you were an awesome partner!!

ok, here's the stuff that i sent to my flaker partner neverendingjourney.  ugh. i was really psyched about the stuff I sent her. She said she wanted a beach bag so I suffered thru sewing multiple layers of oilcloth (PITA!!) to make her this bag.. It's totally lined and has great pockets inside made of the gingham oilcloth. Zippered pouch to match.
This is a needle felted eye glass case. The base part is a felted wool thrift store JCrew sweater. the embellishments are needlefelted on.  The little knitting needles are magnets w/ her initials on them.
Lastly,  a choker and earrings made from glass beads. 
This was my second swap; thank goodness the Altoid Tin one went well! i guess that's Life on Craftster. you win some, you lose some. erg!!!

Wowsers! Everyone's stuff looks fabulous! How do you get the photos on the clay?!  I'm sure there's some tut for that somewhere, right?

anyway, I received my wonderful tin from graciepetunia today and wanted to share it with everyone.  I am a competitive cyclist so she keyed in on my cycling habit, and the tin came at the perfect time since I crashed in a race yesterday and had been feeling quite down (and sore) today.  Totally made my crummy day brighter.   Here are the photos of the tin...and the extras she sent!!



Isn't it darling?! I love it!  Inside was a tiny set of knitting needles with some yarn, patterns and rings for a bracelet. the rings are inside the round little metal canister that has a magnet on the back. So cute!

And here are the extras she sent along for my two kiddos! The 6 yr old quickly claimed the toothbrush and made up a Toothbrush Dance, and the 2 1/2 yr old loves the octapus.  They insisted on showing them off themselves!



 As my older one said of my goodies, "Mommy, she is ON it!!"
