1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Random....But i was thinking... on: June 06, 2011 08:45:09 PM
I try to send a handmade card, at least once every week or so, to someone I know ...just because.  Many of the recipients have told me that it came at "just the right time".  I love the ease of email but I love receiving a card or note via snail mail, too.

You could make a banner using Halloween themed designer paper and embellishments.
Here's a Valentine banner that I made this year.  I am working on creating one for each holiday.

I always include a hand written personal note inside the card.  Most of the time, I write the message on a post it note so that the card is also a gift and can be used by the recipient if she/he wishes.

Hi! I have some masculine cards posted on my blog.
Some examples are http://www.inkandinspirations.com/2011/05/stampin-up-masculine-card-the-open-sea-.html, http://www.inkandinspirations.com/2011/05/stampin-up-tutorial-masculine-card-the-open-sea.html, and http://www.inkandinspirations.com/2011/04/stampin-up-masculine-card-cross-of-faith.html.
I make quite a few cards for male family members so I am always working on something new for the guys!
Hope that helps! Smiley
