My favorite dress to date! I LOVE it! Took me ages and lot of patience but I love everything about it!

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Poka Dot Top on: June 05, 2011 02:50:20 PM
Hardest construction that I've done so far! I have no formal training, just a little experimentation, so the construction was a little hard to figure out! But I'm so happy with the results!!

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Work to Play - One fabric, 2 different dresses on: June 05, 2011 02:33:10 PM
I loved this fabric, but couldn't wear the small dress to work... so I made a more work appropriate version as well!

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / New Seamstress! African Adventure! on: June 05, 2011 02:10:35 PM
I've never shown people anything I've made... so this is a bit nerve wracking! Here we go...

This was made in August 2010. I am going to Africa for a extended trip and wanted a bikini cover up that would be cute but sheer material to help with the heat!

I also made this full length dress for daytime activities in Africa. The chest looks a bit baggy on the mannequin, but it fits much nicer on me!

Final item for my trip! A more formal looking long dress for evenings.

Of course everything needs to have a long shirt under it, but they don't look as cute in photos like that!
