21  Re: summer time. (: in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by justxlove on: March 27, 2007 11:35:47 AM
honestly i just kind of made it up

but i measured around my boobs and just made a long tube like that. i added a zipper and all. then i cut out a small piece of fabric and made a little tube. and then i wrapped it around where i wanted it to be. it slides bc i didnt sew it down.

then for the bottom i just measured it to where i wanted it to go down i just pleated the front a lot. and then i just sewed it all together.\
then i sewed straps to make it a halter. im sorry im no help.
that probably makes no sense at all.
im sure theres tutorials somewhere that have little bits and pieces of what i did.

27  pink and polka dotted dress. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by justxlove on: September 13, 2006 06:05:03 PM
I am really proud of myself. I am in love with this dress. I don't know why I like it so much. It turned out exactly how I planned so maybe thats it. I made it up from a drawing and I love it. :] Tell me what you think. I have a shirt on under this, thats not part of the dress.

sorry for the clutter. this is just to show off the length.

i was sitting down so it looks a little weird.

the accident i love. the straps sit right, they were just falling in this picture.

28  two recons, three pictures. :] in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by justxlove on: August 06, 2006 03:32:00 PM
i loved both of these shirts but after a couple times in the drier they got too short. :[ so i did what seemed simplest and just added a band for length. the pink one i made too big, but i like it. the white one i dont know if i like how it goes over the letters. but whatver.

it even has a kangaroo pocket. :] probably the main reason i wanted to keep it.

sorry for the mess.

tell me what you think. thanks. <3

29  first completed reconstruction. tshirt to tunic. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by justxlove on: July 17, 2006 06:20:48 PM
i found a box of plain white shirts, way too big for me so i decided to make something.
so here it is, my first reconstruction. :]
the shirt looked too plain without something so i added the belt in but i dont like it.
i would love to get a red pleather belt with a huge buckle, i think it would fit it well.

please tell me what you think.
and i just tucked the front into my tank top because it kept showing but i dont think it looks bad.
