Here are some handstamped recipe cards and some bookmarks I made. Love making these bookmarks. I thought they look like flowers so I put them in a tiny terra cotta pot. They were made with stampin up Tart & Tangy stamp set.

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / here's some layouts and a stamping technique on: March 02, 2008 08:03:26 PM
Well I just became a stamping up demonstrator and for my first workshop I made these 2 layouts to show them how to make this really great stamping technique that is so easy and fun. I thought I would share with ya'll too. Here's is the first layout

Here's a closeup of the stamping

What I did was stamped with stampin up white craft ink on white paper and then I used stampin up pastels and ponced (don't rub) on top of the stamped image with the pastels to cordinate with the page. It really gives it a nice effect and is so easy.

here's the second layout

closeup

The second I did in a similar way but I stamped with colored craft ink and used a slightly darker color in the pastels to give it definetion and make it pop. So its not so flat looking.

Hope that makes sense. If anyone has any questions on what I used or anything feel free to send me a message

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / crocheted flower on: September 11, 2006 12:09:17 PM
Does anyone know how to make the crocheted flower on the funky purse from Hollywood Knits Style or know of a link similar to it. It looks like this.
http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_needlework_knitting/article/0,1789,HGTV_3263_4026487,00.html

I have the book but it doesn't give a pattern for the flower. I've searched and searched but I haven't found one. I'm a beginner crocheter so I don't have a clue how to figure it out myself. Would appreciate any help thanks.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / translating patterns help! on: July 12, 2005 10:04:29 AM
i found this really cool free website translater that you can put in the website address and what language it is in then put in the language you need it translated to. and it will translate it for you. i've seen posts on here several times where someone has seen a pattern and needed it translated so i hope it helps everyone in the future. i've tried it so it does work!
