1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Once Upon a Time bookmark on: August 31, 2012 12:46:39 PM

I was in the mood to cross-stitch last week and came across an old cross-stitch pattern I designed a bazillion years ago. Two days later - voila! A cute little bookmark!

For the back, I just attached a strip of felt that complemented the stitching on the front.

If you're interested in downloading the pattern -- it's free on my blog here http://wp.me/p2kNKw-ji
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Slouchy knitted hat with cables on: January 02, 2012 12:15:56 PM
Over the holidays I knitted this slouchy hat -- only took a couple days -- love that! The pattern was pretty easy from Azure Knits:http://azknits.azure-m.com/2010/11/free-pattern-quick-cable-slouch-hat.html Made a couple mistakes while I was decreasing (oops!). Oh well -- with all of the cables it might not be that noticeable Smiley

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Quilted sleep mask + link to tutorial on: December 30, 2011 01:07:41 PM
Even though I am a little intimidated by it, I want to get back into sewing. Yesterday I finally dragged out and dusted off my Bernina and went to town on a small project -- a sleep mask. After three attempts, I think I got it right! Also, I was able to use up some scrap material from previous projects  Smiley

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / LBD with t-back pattern? on: July 31, 2010 09:41:19 AM
I found this dress online and totally adore it, but there is no way the sizes that are available will fit me. Does anyone have a sewing pattern recommendation for this?

5  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / L.A.M.B. plaid dolly dress on: September 25, 2007 02:42:24 PM
I soooo love this dress. Has anyone seen a pattern that resembles this? Aside from the ruffles, it looks pretty straightforward, but I'm still a sewing novice.
