1  Once Upon a Time bookmark in Needlework: Completed Projects by teelee on: August 31, 2012 12:46:39 PM

I was in the mood to cross-stitch last week and came across an old cross-stitch pattern I designed a bazillion years ago. Two days later - voila! A cute little bookmark!

For the back, I just attached a strip of felt that complemented the stitching on the front.

If you're interested in downloading the pattern -- it's free on my blog here http://wp.me/p2kNKw-ji

2  Re: Craft This Tote Round 2! - Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by teelee on: January 25, 2012 02:09:39 PM
This being my first craft swap, all I can say is Wowza! I got my package from Interrobam right before leaving for the weekend. I'm so amazed by the quality work! The bar is set pretty high Smiley

First the tote bag-- I love the color. It's so fun and cherry! Perfect for the grocery store.

Check out the box detail:

And then I got an apron! So pretty...Looks like something straight out of Anthropologie (which I love).

Ruffle detail:

And best of all? Pockets!

Ooh and I got some yummy caramel candies. Thank you so much Interrobam!! Love it all! I'll be finishing yours up this week.  Grin

3  Slouchy knitted hat with cables in Knitting: Completed Projects by teelee on: January 02, 2012 12:15:56 PM
Over the holidays I knitted this slouchy hat -- only took a couple days -- love that! The pattern was pretty easy from Azure Knits:http://azknits.azure-m.com/2010/11/free-pattern-quick-cable-slouch-hat.html Made a couple mistakes while I was decreasing (oops!). Oh well -- with all of the cables it might not be that noticeable Smiley

4  Quilted sleep mask + link to tutorial in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by teelee on: December 30, 2011 01:07:41 PM
Even though I am a little intimidated by it, I want to get back into sewing. Yesterday I finally dragged out and dusted off my Bernina and went to town on a small project -- a sleep mask. After three attempts, I think I got it right! Also, I was able to use up some scrap material from previous projects  Smiley

For a full tutorial, you can click here.http://thestitcherati.com/2011/12/30/easy-quilted-sleep-mask-tutorial/

Enjoy!

5  LBD with t-back pattern? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by teelee on: July 31, 2010 09:41:19 AM
I found this dress online and totally adore it, but there is no way the sizes that are available will fit me. Does anyone have a sewing pattern recommendation for this?
