I've missed you guys!  Love that baby hat with the "1" on it!  And the Knight Playset is awesome!

I have made a Domo Kun t-shirt for my [now] seven year old, as well as a smaller version of the Horadric Cube which I made for my older son (no pics yet).

Also made this charm bracelet for my sister-in-law (those round things are actually pink miracle beads):

As a matter of fact, I did make Valentine's gifts!  I decided to make the "52 Reasons I Love You" books for my husband and three kids...started in early January and didn't finish in time.  I gave them the books anyway and promised to finish them up (which I did).  They all loved them!  Even the non-reader Smiley

Also, I would like to publicly acknowledge a wonderful Craftster on this board:  Pincushion_Queen  She made my youngest son an incredible T-Shirt without expecting anything in return!  He absolutely loves the shirt Smiley

So, yesterday, my daughter announces that she's been invited to a classmate's bday party tomorrow!  Yikes!  He's turning 8 and one of the things she said he liked is Domo, so I made this T-Shirt:

The mouth is appliqued felt, and the eyes are buttons.

4  Shift to Shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by idioskosmos on: January 12, 2012 08:05:40 PM
This is my first "official" refashion  Smiley

I started with a simple thrifted shift made out of a polyester knit blend.  The bodice looked good, but it clung to my tummy, so I knew that it had to become a top!  All I really did was remove the pockets, shorten it, sew up the side seams and add a hem.

Love the dragons - love the slouchy hat!

Kara:  without butter, I recommend looking for vegan recipes.  Here's a great place to start:

Meanwhile, I thought I would go ahead and share what I've got so far (please excuse the poor photography).

This was my first attempt ever at using polymer clay, and I think it turned out okay!  These are Pokemon Gym Badges for my daughter's 8th birthday:

All I have left to do on these is to hot glue pin backs so she can wear them Smiley

Hawkeye's Girl:  Those socks are great!  I'm so intimidated by socks - maybe by next year....

Bookstorebabe:  The necklace and earrings are so beautiful!  I'm sure she will love them!

I received my incredibly wonderful package from Bubblegum Phoenix yesterday!  Inside was a Griffindor Tee and matching slippers, a Weasley's Wizard Wheezes painting, a dragon's egg and - my favorite - a crocheted dragon!  She also included a variety of sweets and a postcard from New Zealand.

Here's a group shot:

Got my sil's present in the mail today, and finished the tunnel book for my bff - It's a sort of mini-scrapbook.  The picture is of her at a Renn Faire when we were 19 or so, and the banner says Best Friends Forever in Latin (yes, I'm aware that's pretty corny!).

Also looks like I'm going to get my swap package out on time!

Finally finished the Space Oddity book for my sil!  Will have to overnight it to get it to her by her birthday....

It turned out a little crude, but this was my first time making a book.  I sure hope she likes it!
