Thanks alot, but it didn't take too much time to do. I just put them down, picked it up and worked on them some more.

-_-"
Worked on it in my classes too, so I ended up reeking of that funky sharpie smell at the end of the day.
I'm an extremely impatient person. Which is why i decided to do shorts versus pants. Shorts have less space. And I was watching Miss Congeniality as I was doing it. :]

Good luck to you guys who'll work with sharpies.

Oh that's a great idea. I'll have to try that.

I love those shorts! You should try making more and selling them! The Phantom Of The Opera rocks! I'm using way too many exclamations points, here. It's not my typical style of speech. But I'm really excited. I wish I could see those pictures better. I'd love to be able to see which songs are written where, and how you illustrated each one. Smiley

Thank you, I'm sorry I couldn't get more photos. I would have, but my dad doesn't like me using his camera. I have to sneak it.

Anyway, the Starry night side has "Music of the Night" written on it, the side with fire has "Past the point of No Return". The back is relatively self-explanatory.

Lol, thanks alot for the positive feedback you guys.

Those are awesome Cheesy Do you plan on wearing them??

Yes, I have been wearing them to swim practice because... well it's swim. Unfortunately the shorts are blatantly out of dress code. Not that I follow them anyway.

Less magnificent than Moulin Rouge Sharpie pants by Banana Ambush but I'm still somewhat proud of them all the same. Favorite songs from Phantom of the Opera. This is my practice procrastination work.

It's when I try out my hand at a craft when I should be doing my English homework.

Took about five hours.

Lately, this seems to be the only materials I'm using. Probably going to cost me a fortune in dental work but I still love it.

It's mod  podged because I'm wearing it for swim pictures and hoping it doesn't get completely wet. It matches my tie.^^

Didn't come out the way I wanted but I'll add more on when I have more time.

Feedback please.

That is amazingly gorgeous. Terrific job.
28  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Starburst Tie Photo! and Earrings on: April 03, 2005 12:26:33 PM
could you explain how to make the earrings??

Thanks! Cheesy

The earrings are simple too, though it really is annoying to do when it comes apart in your hands. It starts out the same way people do the starburst bracelets but instead of making a chain, invert it. It will become a diamond.

...Maybe I'll just post pictures as soon as I can.

I taped them. I was doing this in my APEuro class.

Sorry you guys, there really isn't a tutorial. I just made it up as I went along.

I took a normal tie I had, put it on a piece of paper and traced the edges. Then I folded up starburst wrappers so they fit inside the outline i made and taped them together. After that I took four wrappers, folded them up to create that 'knot' and taped/glued the tie piece to that. I taped wrappers together to make the thing that goes around the neck and ended it at the knot.

I'm horrible at explanations, but thanks for the feedback. Makes me all warm inside.
