21  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Scorpion Dice Bag on: July 24, 2007 08:04:30 PM
That's right - I'm devoted heart and soul to an RPG nerd... and proud of it!  Cheesy

For our first V-day, I bought a black dice bag and cross stitched a scorpion mon on it from this game: http://www.l5r.com/the-clans/. He still uses it constantly, and it's probably one of my favorite projects to date.

Pardon the image - that bag is well-loved and it shows  Smiley

Thanks for looking!
22  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Baby's on deck! on: July 24, 2007 07:57:02 PM
Well folks, lots of babies on deck...I know three coming in the next two months, so I got cracking on some baby hats. Two out of three babies are mystery gender, so I had to get creative with the colors. They're all blue and green because 1) I love the colors and 2) god forbid any self-respecting baby boy is caught dead in anything but (aren't baby clothes so gender specific??)

I adapted these from a pattern in Happy Hooker:

You can't really tell from the picture, but the one in the middle one has a flower (loosely) attached. I worked it up using without a pattern (which doesn't usually work for me, but I'm thrilled it did this time!)... you know a little flapper flair for any lady babies that might come along  Wink

Thanks for looking!

28  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Crochet Hook Storage on: July 24, 2007 10:37:37 AM
i really like that! my yarn hook storage consists of a mug. good job!

I hear that, mine is an old tupperware that has so much stuff in it, I can never find what I'm looking for.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one neglecting my hooks...fortunately, though, we have a ridiculous amount of mugs at my house, so there is a dedicated hook mug  Wink
29  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Eco Baby Bib ~ free pattern on: July 24, 2007 10:35:38 AM
Nice! I know several parents to be at the moment, so I might have to dig into my grocery bag stash.  Smiley

Also, I cruised some of your past posts (because of WIPs' post), and you are a maniac with the recycling... I love that! Keep up the good work!
