I love the hoop! The head wrap looks so toasty, and the candle holders are really cool! I really like that wreath too, I love that rustic type look!

I have some clearer pics of the shirt and owl bag. i almost didn't let that one go! i love the lining fabric too, I got in japan.

the poly clay pumpkin was originally intended to be a zipper pull, but when i was trying to attach the hardware the stem broke, so i sanded the stem down and repainted it. alas, it's just a little decorative pumpkin now!

ok, good grief! i had no idea we had a gallery! i missed that day in class  Embarrassed

here is my awesome stuff from xxmyjelloxx...

everything came along with a nice leaf stamped letter

i asked for stuff for my house and so jello made me these pretty flower arrangements in lovely earthy painted terracotta pots.

she made me this oh-so-cool wall hanging off my pinterest. I can't wait to attach a pretty ribbon so i hang it in spot worthy of it (right now it's propped up on books on the shelf so it can be seen  Wink )!

SHe also made me this fab scarf! I have been wearing it non-stop  Grin (except when it was modeled by daughter #1, who obviously has no respect for seasonal propriety!)

now jello had no way of knowing this, but even though I love the scents of fall, i typically go without because i don't like the perfume-y smell that you get with most air fresheners, etc. she made the yummiest smelling homemade apple cinnamon sachet from natural ingredients. it's fantastic!

i also got this extra fall fleece fabric. i think i'll make jammie pants for one of my girls.  Smiley

my house looks (and smells) so fall now! thank you so much for being such a great partner!

I came home to my package last night.  Grin  Here are the pics of the neat stuff from crymson! these aren't the best shots, the weather here today is dark and rainy, so i can't go outside. if you have some you'd like to post, H, please do.

she sent me this great stump with this pretty little egg that fits perfectly on top! And the sweet little acorn necklace.

She also made this pretty pendant from one of my pinterest boards. I think I'm going to put in on hemp to compliment the wonderful natural feel it has. I'll post an action shot when I do!

I got a cute little pumpkin, and a flower and leaf. My kids keep trying to steal it even though they got stuff too...

She made a unicorn inspired HP wand for my 7yr old. She's been running around casting magic spells since she got up!

And she made this peter pan inspired necklace for my 4 yr old. Isn't it the cutest thing ever?

Thank you so much, Crymson! Your package was so thoughtful. My kids were so excited to get something from my swap, and we all love what you made. I'm so excited to wear my new jewelry! It was great swapping with you!

prepare to drool...

I made the first of my recipes tonight. Scriblette's Citrus Bacon Spinach salad. I didn't have mandirin so i used clementines. i also threw a little goat cheese on there. so yummy! (i apologize for the crappy cell pic, it looked as great as it tastes!)

OMG. seriously awesome. this is javede's Maghmour and Bulgur salad. I couldn't find the turkish chili paste it called for so i used harissa. i did find the pomegrannate syrup at whole foods and i LOVE it! you could probably use lemon if you coudn't find it, but the syrup really adds a nice flavor. It was a little heavy on the onion for me (i'm not a huge fan), so when i made it, i sliced them super finely for the maghmour so they just sort of disappeared and thickly for the bulgar so i could pull them out from mine. next time i will reduce the amount i use. i doubled the recipe for dinner guests. everyone loved it!

I'm glad you like them! I have a picture of the heart tree. the light in my house is awful for natural light picture taking though, that I have to have my lens blown open and everything else is soft!

my package arrived from zatanna today! I was so excited! Grin

I am a serious fan of house Stark, but that is no Joke, it's supposed to be 39 degrees tonight. Sometimes I think Michigan is the place where winters can last a lifetime...

tada! the group shot. That candle is cinnamon donut scented, and I kid you not, that is my hands down favorite donut. And I love donuts! You must be a psychic, Z!

look at the awesomeness! I wish I had better light for photos in my house, the sword is actually sparkly! I think Arya is going to be the righteous retribution of the unduly wronged Stark family. I love it, I have it on a shelf for everyone to see when they hang up their coats!

My very own maester's (anklet) chain. How cool are maesters?!

and here I am enjoying my new status as a maester with one of my favorite local (and very apropos) high gravity brews.

Thank you so much for the great package, Z!  Kiss

Got my package today!!

Mclied, you were spot on with what you sent!  I LOVE them!

Jiji chopstick rests!  lol, at first I pulled them out of the package (before I read the letter) and was like "oh no, they got bent!"

an action shot:

because you know you want to see more Jiji.   Cheesy

I have been wanting chopstick rests for a while... but had never found a set I wanted to buy that was a reasonable price.  These are perfect!  Thanks so much!

omg. this is the coolest thing ever!
