1  Gocco Bunny Cards in Screen Printing: Completed Projects by nilla_bean on: January 21, 2008 12:46:50 PM
Edited to say:
We got a lovely mention on Design*Sponge (designspongeonline.com) about the bunny print on notebooks today. Hurray!

We just got our brand new Gocco from Japan and we love it. We started by printing these bunny cards. They're done with a gold ink on cards with a raised border around the image.
Let me know what you think,

Thanks!

2  Cute as a Button Necklace, resin in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by nilla_bean on: January 05, 2007 10:57:12 AM
Here's another resin piece I made, along with the Sewing Circle Necklace,
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=143188.0
for people who love to craft.  This one is a smaller simpler piece for people who like their jewelry to be a bit more subtle.
Hope you enjoy,
xoxo amy
As always if you have any questions about resin just ask!

3  Sewing Circle Necklace, Resin in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by nilla_bean on: January 03, 2007 10:42:04 AM
I've gotten back into resin lately, something that was taking over my life and my kitchen about a year ago.
This is the Sewing Circle Necklace

Let me know if you have any questions about resin.

4  I made a bunny! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by nilla_bean on: October 04, 2006 11:55:54 AM
This is my first little creature I've crocheted. I decided to just free style the little guy instead of following a pattern although it is clearly based on a japanese bunny pattern. My stitches and my embroidery need some work but in the end I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Sorry the picture's so blurry!

Let me know what you think,
xoxo Amy

5  The best fabric I've yet to see in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by nilla_bean on: September 01, 2006 06:26:05 PM
This fabric shows exactly how much more awesome asian craft supplies are. I bought this from Kitty-craft.com, a very drool worthy site you should look at. I made it with a panel of the big bad wolf fabric down the front and the rest of the bag is oatmeal colored felt.  Just thought I'd share, feedback always welcome.

6  Re: Vegan/Veggie Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by nilla_bean on: July 18, 2006 04:38:39 PM
Hi everyone
I got my fantastic package from laura_borealis today! I feel so spoiled because it included yummy treats.
I received vegan marshmallows and crazy german vegan candy called Vampire's Lunch, they're shaped like skull and cross bones and blood drops and are pepper and blackcurrant flavour.  I also recieved a beautiful apron, far to nice to cook in, a lovely lunch bag that will be put right to use, a V for vegetarian patch and the most amzing vegan silk handspun wool, it's so much more beautiful than the the picture. Thank you so much.
Everything

Close up of the patch and lovely wool

Me pretending to cook because the apron's too nice to actually get dirty

On a less happy note I haven't heard from Kundi, veganxwater please PM if you have, we might have to do an angel call.

7  Vintage Lace Cuff in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by nilla_bean on: June 27, 2006 10:18:12 AM
Hi,
I made a bunch of these cuffs for a craft fair a little while age.
Sorry the first picture is weird looking. I have to replace it on the site as well.

Let me know what you think. I'm going to make at least one more for myself. They're a mix of newer and vintage laces and trims, they have a felt lining and do up with velcro.
Thanks,
Amy

8  ONGOING QUILT LOVE CHILD in Quilting: Completed Projects by nilla_bean on: June 12, 2006 02:10:07 PM
My friend and I started two quilts last October. She taught me how to paper piece and we do it all by hand. We each work on one quilt and then switch every month or two. She lives in Montreal and I live in Vancouver, so we mail them back and forth. When the tops are both done we'll flip a coin to see who gets which one and then we'll back and quilt them for each other. This is a very long and exciting project, that I've been meaning to post for a while. The tops are about 70% done now, we've figured that when they're done they will each be made up of 300 squares. It's a labour of love.
Here's one of the quilts so far that I just received in the mail from her yesterday and also a few of my favorite squares.

10  Golden Bird In Resin in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by nilla_bean on: March 23, 2006 03:28:58 PM
Here's my latest resin creation. It has a golden bird and hearts along with teal beads and glass leaves floating in it. You can't see it but it closes with a toggle clasp. This is the first one I've done with multi stranded chains, I think I like the combination. Let me know what you think, and have a peek at my site if you like.
