Wow, I love it!  Personally, I'd keep the square neckline if you're going to keep tying the sash around the middle.  But the change in neckline wouldn't hurt either if you'd rather do that!  Cheesy

Dang it, I wish I hadn't have already made myself a messenger bag for school or I would so make one like this.

That is seriously great.   Shocked

That's really cute!! -- where did you get the fabric?

I got all of it at Wal-Mart, the black canvas, the Batman, and all the things I used to make it!  And thanks!!

Thanks to the others, too!  ^_^

Woohoo!  My first real post to Craftster!

*cough*  Anyway...

For school next year, I didn't want to have to carry a backpack because I'll only have a book or two and maybe a notebook, so I thought I'd use a messenger bag.  I couldn't find any that I really liked, so I decided to make my own!  Batman has been my favorite since I was a little kid, so when I found some cheap leftover material at Wal-Mart, I knew exactly what I was going to use it for!

Padded arm thing.  I padded it a bit too much, but it still works.

The strap is actually a black seatbelt.

The inside of the front pocket: a little pocket and some pencil/pen holders.  You can still see my white charcoal pencil marks at the top!

Inside pocket.  Nothing special.

Inside with my "style" folder.  It's a bit floppy when you put something in it, so I'm going to cover a piece of cardboard with that Batman material to put in the bottom to give it more of a box shape and more stability.

*EDIT* I uploaded them to Craftster, so they might be crappy in quality, but at least my bandwith won't be exceeded.  ^_^
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Checkered Ceiling Bathroom on: April 16, 2005 11:10:49 AM
Shocked Oh my I freaked out so much when I saw this.  My bedroom has been painted the exact same way (pink with black and white checked ceiling) for a while now!  If I hadn't have seen the white trim (mine is black) I would really have freaked out.  But then I clicked on it and saw it was a bathroom.  Hehehe...
