Love love love LOVE this bag!!! Grin
Have wanted to make a purse/bag out of all the cammo we have lying around, but this is far beyond my capabilities ...... must try anyway.... and liking the side pocket to hold a droid, lord knows it's hard to find a pocket on a manufactured purse to fit one!!
Thanks for sharing!!
2  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Converting exsisting pumps to this.......any ideas? on: January 15, 2012 09:06:45 PM
I have a closet full of pumps that I simply do not wear anymore..... I'm not in the office world anymore and don't want to see these go to waste.

Hubby and I go out on occasion and I would love to turn my old heels into something fun and funky......add straps, cut them, etc...... and I found this shoe that I fell in love with although the purple is a wee too "Minnesota Vikings" for a die hard Pacer fan... LOL

Any ideas out there how to convert standard heels to this?

Thanks in advance to any insight you all may have!!!!

This one was done to a t-shirt, but will help illustrate what I was trying to describe.

I have the same issue, I just don't feel comfortable with wearing things really tight at my age....so I did a search on here and found many that have put an inch or two side panels from the armpit down to the hem in a contrasting color.
Cut the tank or tee from the armpit straight down to the hem, and add in your contrast fabric.
Hope this helps

I just saw the booty wrap on Hoda & Kathy this morning and was wondering if anyone has given this a try on making one.

Maybe I'll take a stab at it and post if it works out!!

Thanks in advance for any responses.
