1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: One Tiny Doctor Who Thing - Round 2 Gallery on: May 21, 2011 11:34:46 PM
@lanikins -- Those are some of the most adorable, beautiful, thoughtful crafts I've seen.  Smiley
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: I Want to Work for an Evil Corp. Swap Gallery on: May 21, 2011 11:31:20 PM
Overall, this is possibly the neatest swap I've ever seen.

@Calabaza -- Those were the coolest keychains in the history of keychains.
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Metroid Cross-stitch on: May 21, 2011 11:22:16 PM
I've seen a few examples of these designs before, but your color choices (and particularly your ability to make the framing into a part of the piece itself) really make this one above-and-beyond.  Smiley
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Love Child of Cthulhu and Holly Hobbie -- Ctholly on: May 21, 2011 11:21:06 PM
Oh, dear god, that is adorable.

And also really subtly menacing, which is wonderful.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: an infinitely improbable hoop on: May 21, 2011 11:19:47 PM
I feel like the scientific names just *make* this -- it's absolutely lovely!
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: I follow the teaching of WHEDON. . . on: May 21, 2011 11:19:05 PM
I absolutely love this. Smiley  Whedon is an amazing creative mind, and these are gorgeous tributes!
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: What should I do with a BUNCH of WHITE YARN?! on: May 21, 2011 11:10:59 PM
For the most part, I'd think the dye should take fairly evenly; the only issue I'd think of would be if your stitching were particularly tight, in which case not all of the yarn might get evenly-applied dye.  Beyond that, blankets are always lovely worsted-weight projects.  Smiley
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Tardis Bag on: May 21, 2011 11:04:36 PM
Well, this is just amazing!  I love that it's a really practical bag, too, as that seems to be in keeping with the actual spirit of the TARDIS.  Wink
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: New handbags - Mailman, Urban Fairy and Retronia = pic heavy on: May 21, 2011 11:02:51 PM
For what it's worth, I certainly don't think the fabric is "too couch-like" -- I think it looks gorgeous, and any of the bags would be wonderful with a little black dress.  They look tremendously easy to get into, as well; I personally hate the bags whose openings are so small that you can't even get a wallet into them, so these look blissfully (practically) large.   Smiley
