i havent crocheted since grade 6! came from lisgriffinwannabe's house today and she gave me a ton of nice fiber to small for knitting- by the end of the night i had made her a necklace! when i got home i made this:

i made this a while ago for my digital camera. actually i made it for the student sale a few months ago but it was too good and i had to keep it. incidently my digital camera fits perfectly. we have a bulky camera.

the first time i ordered fabric its from japan and it rocks! i love ordering fabric online now.
this is the first purse i made with my japanese fabrico. likey? first time i made a slash pocket (kind of) and use bead trim like this.

its reversable. but i made it too small. my aunt sent me 5 wooden handles from the philippines...they are so nice and free! i wanted to make like a set of two or three bags, all reversable, to go with a pair of handles..i figure it would be cool to have some extra skins for maximum wardrobe potential.

hi all

i sewed these owls last year with my boyfriend. his mom had just given us a sewing machine and these were the first project by us on it. simon my bf is part of humanfive and he just uploaded a really LARGE wonderful showcase of the owls with their names. they were in 'x the owl and the land of makebelieve' show in san diego CA. summer 2004.

they are in Simon Redekop 2004 ... just keep clicking the owls open in a large window! ooooh

edit: here is owlie- this was the very first owl.

she didnt make it to the show coz we didnt want her to go....pirate owl the other best owl was lost to a bad trade- i didnt make it to the show for sure no such trade wouldve happened!
