Those are really pretty!  I bought the supplies to try my hand at it, but I haven't done anything with it yet.  Yours look great!

Thanks Cheesy

I've had some turn out good, some great, and some just made me throw them in a fit of crafter's rage Cheesy  It's fun once you get a slight hang of it; can't wait to see yours Grin

So. I'd tried "wire wrapping" (properly) before, no good.  On a short-ish (1 hour 10 minutes?) drive to Claxton, GA.. I took apart a necklace I'd made with goldfilled wire and beads.. and re-strung the beads onto some peach colored thread.  I had a few beads that didn't make their way down the needle (hole's too small) and leftover wire. HMMM.  (I guess this -could- be reconstructed, but not technically; since I made both pieces?)

Anywho.  I made a ring out of remaining beads and wire; and LOVE it.  It fits me perfectly (size 3, tiny tiny fingers!) and it was just so cute and wonderful.

It's not as fancy-shmancy as some I've seen; but I like how it's rustic or.. earthy looking; especially the "band", it's not solid, but curvy and braidy lookin'.

Sooo, I liked that one so much, I thought I'd make a few more (varrying in sizes from 6-9; a little tougher because none of my fingers were that big; so I had to hold on to the wire pretty tightly) **these were not made in the moving vehicle, just the first one** lol.

'n' yes, the pearls are supposed to be kinda scratchy (rustic! rustic!) I'm not so much fancy.

annnnd... ACTION!

I like 'em a lot Smiley Whattaya think?

Thanks for looking! :*

Are you making sure to promote inside Etsy, outside of Etsy, (livejournal has a bunch of 'communities' to advertise in, just search 'shopping') (myspace, facebook, etc) Etsy has a promotional section in the forums (you may know this) also;

Make sure to take pictures of the inside of your bags, people have to be able to see the whole thing or they won't be inclined to buy it, usually.  Maybe add some 'action shots' of your bibs being used, or maybe add a pacifier as a  nice touch to the pacifier holder (but remember to add "pacifier not included" in your description) and measurments in both inches and centimeters are a great help as well. (A good tool for converting inches to centimeters: http://www.manuelsweb.com/in_cm.htm just in case your ruler doesn't have them or is confusing.)

I hope that helps!

III repurposed this from a big clunky necklace with all sorts of wooden disky goodness. (but it's not really recycled... so I put it in general, if that's ok?)

They're painted red orange and green (obviously) and it reminds me of a traffic light..

The obligatory artsy fartsy shot...

And a shot of it on this crazy neck some girl has.

The necklace itself is waxed linen cord, braided by moi.  I love it! (and it closes with a barrel clasp if anyone's interested in knowing that.)

EDITTT

I've repurposed it a THIRD time, and turned into this; which I like much better. (I had made an identical necklace with brown cord, and deconstructed it too, to make this.)

thanks for looking  Kiss
