21  Geetars and Doves (hairpins) biggish images? in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by RobinLynne on: September 26, 2007 02:32:46 PM
IIII haven't posted anything since a squished penny necklace, and I missed posting stuff... so here I am!  Two sets of hairpins, the geetars were charms from a bracelet but I painstakingly removed the loops from them... and the doves were wedding favors, apparently, but now they're not.  Cheesy  And here they are!

comments always enjoyed, thanks for lookin'! Smiley

24  if you've seen one of my posts... (3 pics) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by RobinLynne on: August 29, 2006 05:46:21 PM
you've pretty much seen them all!  So I'm in love with this fabric that I've had forever.  It works extremely well for these sorta tops... so I've made three so far and have just enough material for one more!  Two with black lace (this one, and another that has halter straps (hate it Sad ) ) and one with neon green lace  anyway, here's my newest favorite one:

yay for the front!

the back.. it's got a bow! I heart it Smiley

thanks for lookin' Cheesy

and if anyone's wonderin' about the weird cropping/borders... I just think they're fancy lookin Tongue

25  rainbow splatters, skulls and wife-beating (2pix) in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by RobinLynne on: August 23, 2006 09:46:50 AM
Plain old wifebeater? Nahhh.  I got funky with it.  The skulls are iron-ons and while the paper was coolin', I splattered rainbow paint all over the place.  I love it Smiley

28  Another bag.. huge, lacy, girly.. aggh. 2 pics. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by RobinLynne on: August 15, 2006 03:50:32 PM
I think I used up the majority of this fabric (some of you might remember it from the crazy clutch I made...) making this bag. It took a good 2 hours to sew everything, but I wanted it to look -good-.. it's lined with green canvas (the color of the green on the lace, actually) and it's huge, which I love.. and the strap is braided ribbon and lace.. Soooo freakin' girly. I love it, onward pictures hooo!

I look mildly confused/worried?? but look at that bag baby Cheesy

You know I gots to do the closeup Tongue

Comments and the like are always welcomed! <33

29  Cut-out handles, matching wallet (4 pictures! unnecessary modeling XD) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by RobinLynne on: August 04, 2006 02:41:24 PM
Well I think the subject pretty much says it all...

Deliciously evil fabric from Wal-Mart ( Sad I knowww.) I got a whole 1.5 yds for 57 cents though(!)

The left side is styled like that amazing change-purse ... that I can't find the link for, but if/when I do, I'll post it!.. anyway, it's styled like the little changepurse that folded, you know, so nothing fell out.. so it holds my change -and- my one lowly $5 bill.

I have mad hand-sewing skills, yo. (the handle) and I so love my buttons.. yay orange strawberries Cheesy

and the unnecessary modelling... *clickit*

thumbnail'd for your pleasure.  (It's a fun picture Tongue)

Yay. Comments? Criticism? Yeahhh! Bring it.  Grin

30  I lost my embroidery virginity today... 3 pics! in Needlework: Completed Projects by RobinLynne on: July 26, 2006 04:09:36 PM
Pics first!

the shirt in all it's glory.

the shirt, on-person.

Close up!

long, drugout story to follow...

ok. so.  I had this brainstorm and a $1 package of embroidery floss from the dollar tree (neutral colors, black, white, brown etc) and I was thinking... I should try this! so I printed out some line-art of a bird (I flipped one in paint) and printed them on iron-on transfer paper, ironed the design onto the sleeves of this wicked-awesome vintage Girlscout shirt and sewed over the black lines (I cheated, yesss.)  All in all, I'm lovin' it.  My sister told me that all the lines are supposed to be the same.. but I was like.. whatevz girlfriend.  I like it a lot! So I thought I'd share! Comments, criticism, etc always welcome Smiley
