I am new and posting all sorts of stuff (learning the posting crafter ropes) and thought I would share this photo... a picture says a million words.
My daughter is at the Dr Who Experience in London comparing scarves. Looks like I was off on my beige color (should have been darker).

3  Panniers for 18th century dress in Costumes: Completed Projects by drue on: February 09, 2012 08:01:17 AM
Completed panniers ( simplicity 3635 costume pattern)


... due to cost issues... I used pvc pipe in the lower skirt and steel boning in the upper hip.
The corset (butterick 4254) was from an earlier costume.

for 18th Century dress (simplicity 3637 costume pattern)
