I made this from a tray I bought at Goodwill - many coats of paint - lots of sanding and of course decoupaging the chicken on - drills some holes, add some ribbon and tada!!

for my sister's baby - I am afraid the top stitiching got a little messy around the neck Sad

the text is just free-handed on by me - the top fabric is actually those little lap pads or spit pads that are water-proof - a bit different for embroidering on...

i made this pinata for a joint party we had for my daughters and filled it with plastic insects (I made party crackers filled with candy that I handed out afterwards)...





the handprints of my daughter's are in paper-mache I made them for my MIL and let her paint them so blame the color scheme on her...

my in-laws had their fortieth anniversary - i painted and decoupaged this box for them and asked the relatives for mementos to put in it...

I have a friend in Scotland who love kitschy souvenirs so she sent me one of those fabric souvenir wall-hangings - this one had scottish recipes on it including haggis - made a bag out of it...







origami bag - with celtic knot-print fabric - I am very, very happy with this little bag (it measures 4" X 6")
