You do gorgeous work...are these recycled papers or quality papers (either way - they are gorgeous - I am just curious about the consistency of the beads)...

I had to look when I saw the words tea party. I love tea. Those are adorable - very clever. I rather fancy the lavender cup.

When my five year old was three we went to a fancy tea party for kids. She was very disappointed because they were served apple juice and she was used to drinking Mom's tea.

I am officially addicted to micro beads. They aren't cheap but they aren't terrible - what is more expensive is the double-sided tape. I get the kind that is specifically for using with beads. I always make sure I have a coupon when I buy it.

Oh another thing about the beads...make sure you work with them in a bowl so you can funnel them back into your container. It is amazing how many projects you can do with one small vial of beads.

I am glad you all like it!

A few years ago, my MIL gave me some stuff from her MIL. Among the items were an old purse, two hankies, and this compact. I am working on a Grandma's Purse Memory Capsule. This is the first project. The compact. I had planned to simply glue a photo of Grandma inside the purse. However, I am glad I didn't get around to it before I discovered the joys of micro glass beads. Here it is!

This is my the same woman and her husband. This was the hardest one to do simply because I had to slide the tape into the frame and of course, it would stick.

This is is the same woman when she was a child, isn't it gorgeous!

These are gorgeous! When I saw them I knew I would only need to read down the thread to find a comment similar to the one you received. I think they are beautiful - especially your husband's Bible. He is definitely a skilled craftsman and artisan.

I place a piece of craft foam or an old mouse pad under the paper and the attern when I am piercing the card.  I use a regular embroidery needle and embroidery floss.  I used verigated green for the dress.

Wow!! She is fabulous!

Brilliant! I've done that with album covers but never with a VHS - I hope your Mom liked it.
