it is all ivory colored...

How funny you should suggest this - I am participating in a seasons photo challenge at my photoboard...I am definitely in. I  might as well celebrate the seasons this year.

I will post the towels as you suggested but hope I do something else springy before summer!!

Made up as a wall-hanging for my best friend's second child...

bought this jar/vase at a thrift store cause I loved the shape of it...

painted it with ceramic/glass paint/ decoupaged it, used gold leaf and cord trim...

The side with the verse reads: And he took the cup and when he had given thanks: he gave it to them and the all drank of it.And he said unto them, "This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many." Mark 14: 24-25

The side with the definition includes this: a person into whom some quality of grace is infused ===== a tube or canal (as an artery) in which bodily fluid is contained and conveyed or circulated.

the side with the heart is my favorite side..

Got this idea browsing Anna Corba's book "Vintage Paper Crafts" she had a bouquet of buttons in a jar in a photo that showed her work supplies and ephemera...

I think it is cute and rather sweet - it also has a lazy daisy about the size of a dime embroidered on the inside of the cover...the needle cushion is from a fulled wool sweater - will keep the needles sharp and rust free...the whole is made of wool felt...I think my blanket stitch needs work and that is the one thing that concerns me about this does my less than perfect blanket stitch make it look whimsical or sloppy?
