23  owl shorts in Needlework: Completed Projects by Mary Bell on: August 03, 2006 04:25:15 AM
for my two-year-old - she seems to like them she says "I like them, I like them, I like them"  in one of her most charming voices  when I put them on her.

24  drool monster gargoyle baby bib in Needlework: Completed Projects by Mary Bell on: June 26, 2006 01:52:45 PM
for my sister's baby - I am afraid the top stitiching got a little messy around the neck Sad

the text is just free-handed on by me - the top fabric is actually those little lap pads or spit pads that are water-proof - a bit different for embroidering on...

28  anniversary box in Completed Projects by Mary Bell on: June 20, 2006 01:32:34 PM
my in-laws had their fortieth anniversary - i painted and decoupaged this box for them and asked the relatives for mementos to put in it...

the box--

the top -

the inside with stuff in it - the triangle shaped box from that day - we had a butterfly release as part of the celebration-

inside bottom -

inside lid - i am very proud of the job i did cutting out the rose - the quote says - there is not cure for love but to love more Ralph Waldo Emerson

30  tin cans, old photos, and bits and pieces - equal buttons or magnets... in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Mary Bell on: April 28, 2006 03:39:59 AM
these were made with tin can lids, old photos (laminated) and of course the decorations of shells or buttons...

figure these might be used for magnets or broach type things (although inspite of my best efforts the edges are a bit sharp)

this one is perhaps my fave (the one below)...

although, I am, quite fond of her
