Ok, then I would go to Festoon on MLK.  I've been going there for years and I have always been happy.  Any of the stylists are great and they price on a scale according to experience.  If you don't mind spending a little time in the chair and want to pay less, you can go in on Monday when they have training.  These are all people who are learning, but the other hairstylists monitor everything.  SO, you'll get a good cut, but it might take a while.  On the plus side, it's cheaper!

I would call and ask for someone who specializes in your type of hair.  You can probably ask me about the stylists, I know some of them.

Smiley  Good luck!

How much are you willing to pay?  I know a GREAT salon, but it's pretty pricey...

OK, I'm sure I have a lot of ideas, so I will keep posting as I gather them.  The first thing I would say is that you should definitely have papel picado for decorations.  You can totally make it if you want to go crafty, but it's pretty cheap so if you have a lot of other things to make it might be easier to just buy them.  This site has a good picture: http://www.mexicansugarskull.com/mexicansugarskull/PapelBanners.htm

or you can just google "papel picado" and there are a ton of sites to make your own.

Good luck!  Smiley

Hi Everyone!  Here is my first Craftster project post, along with the first thing I have ever knitted.  I was going to put it in the knitting section, but I thought it fit better here.  Tell me what you think, I know it's pretty crude.  Smiley

I think you should definitely send them.  I don't hold a grudge or anything if I don't get a card, but I definitely remember.

I like the idea that the rest of the people have too, include a little something.  Since the cards are already written you don't have to spend time on that anymore.  If they aren't open and you still don't know who sent what you don't even have to mention what people gave you.  I would use the extra time to print up a newsletter type deal in Publisher (or something) telling people the Story of The Lost Thank-You Cards.

I would appreciate the effort and it would just make me think of happy memories of the couple and your wedding.
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: think i should make this into a skirt? on: March 31, 2005 12:31:40 PM
I might reconstruct it into another t-shirt, not sure about the skirt especially with pleats.  But it could be cool!  Is the I heart NY going to be part of the pleats?

GOOD LUCK!
