21  Re: True Blood Round 5 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Cloverlilly on: August 29, 2011 02:13:02 PM
So I came home today to this!!! & after a bad day it was the boost I needed hehe.

YAY!!! I have to say it made me laugh to see the box reused awesome recycling.

With out further ado

Everything Together

Etched glass, there are four and I love them! I have been lusting after the others and am so happy to have my own set now

A hand made true blood note book, the perfect thing for a note book junky like myself.

This has already found a home!

There was also a fangbanger shawl but I couldn't get a good/right picture of it. Kit if you have any feel free to post them.
Thank you so much Kit_Kat, this was such an awesome package and swap!

23  Baby shower cross stitch in Needlework: Completed Projects by Cloverlilly on: August 22, 2011 05:43:25 PM
This is a cross stitch I just finished for a friends baby shower. It took me about three days on and off to finish, which I'm thankful for seeing as the baby shower is Thursday & I didn't know about it till last Friday hahah it's a pattern that I changed slightly by leaving off the baby name and birthday because they haven't picked his name yet and he isn't born yet so it got a few more stars than it would have had otherwise.

C&C welcome

24  Re: True Blood Swap Round 5: Sign Ups June 20- July 5, SO August 8 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Cloverlilly on: June 27, 2011 11:06:49 PM
Just watched the first new episode!

My sister and I are both huge fans of True Blood and Glee -- I'm thinking of making a t-shirt like Kurt's from the Born This Way episode, only mine would say "Likes Fangs" instead of "Likes Boys" -- so in love with the vamps in this series! (http://glee.wikia.com/wiki/File:Kurt_hummel_likes_boys_t-shirt.jpg If you don't watch Glee...) What do you guys think? "Likes Wolves" etc?

That makes me think of this....

It would be an awesome shirt either way

25  My Very First Wallet!!! :) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Cloverlilly on: June 09, 2011 10:04:00 PM
So I have been wanting to make a wallet for sometime but all the seemed so complicated so I couldn't make myself add that on top of all my other projects. See I'm not great with zippers, the one in this is only my second or third, but this wallet was soooo easy!! All thanks to ShannyAnn and her awesome tutorial. It is the cause for my wallet craziness. I'm planning to make one for my aunts birthday using pre-quilted fabric, I'll do my best to post about how that one comes out too. I will have to remember next time to use interfacing on the flap too seeing as I used a snap instead of Velcro. All in all, from cutting to the final ironing it took about two/two & a half hours.

The outside &/or closed

Opening with coin pocket, six card slots and two larger pockets for bills or what have you

Oh, I do want to make a comment for any others that saw my summer purse post that Sophie was again helping me with this one aka sleeping on the left over fabric, if I hadn't been in the middle of cutting I would have taken a picture.

C & C welcome
Thanks for checking out the post!

26  My Summer Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Cloverlilly on: June 03, 2011 02:57:19 PM
I have found myself unhappy with all the purses I have, which happens from time to time so my way fixing this is to make a new one and using this patter http://www.made-by-rae.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern.html  I made a cute summer bag. The fabric is called tutti-fruiti, I got it as remnants from Jo-Ann Fabrics. To go with it I made a small coin purse using an awesome tut http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EICadoBCC1s&feature=share

This is my cat Sophie, helping me cut out fabric

Thanks to Rae, and Soreribsin for the patterns and tutorials.
