Eegatz! Those are really tiny! I've done small cranes before, but I'm not sure if they were as small as yours! Great job! Have you tried making other tiny origami creations aside from the cranes?
342  Texas / Texas: Northwest / San Angelo or Abilene crafsters? on: April 07, 2005 02:21:36 PM

I'm in San Angelo until August, and on the weekends I'm in Abilene (unless my fiancé decides to come down instead). Do any of you live in these two cities or nearby?  Smiley

Have you tried Posner's art store on the U of A campus? It's in the southwest shopping plaza at Speedway and Park, right next to the Chinese restaurant and across from the art/music building and one of the dorms on campus.

Try the Intergrated Learning Center (ILC) at the University of Arizona. I'm sure they would have that going on at Eller (business college, northeast corner of Speedway and Park Ave), and the Gould Simpson Building (north east corner of Park and 5th st/ave.. i can't remember which one). The problem is I'm not sure if you need to have VPN or something like that and be a student at the U of A. The libraries in town allows free internet access, you could save your resumés on a disk and probably use them there. Thinking about that now, I think anyone can use the computers in the ILC too. In fact, if you bring your cat-5, you can plug your laptop in connections all around that building for internet access, students do that all the time. Good luck.
345  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Earthy Fall Wedding!! Ideas? on: April 07, 2005 12:20:28 PM
You can have hollowed out pumpkins/squashes and carve the new name initials on them, and use them to hold lighted candles for table decorations. Kinda jack-o-laternish, but I'm sure beautiful with different kinds of gourds lighted up (this of course would work better towards dusk and later in the evening). Good luck  Smiley
