21  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Girly Skirt from Men's Dress Pants on: May 29, 2004 08:13:48 PM
I made this skirt awhile ago, but I am just now getting around to posting it. I call it my "audition" skirt, as I made it especially for my audition for "Into the Woods." It served me well!

I made it out of a pair of men's dress pants that were like a dollar at a thirft store. I really wanted to find a good pair of pinstriped pants for the project, but couldn't find any that were anywhere close to fitting. Now everytime I go thrifting I keep seeing cool patterns that would make awesome skirts!
22  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knit Cuff on: February 26, 2004 08:18:11 PM
So I made this using some left-over yarn, mostly second hand stuff. I knit it with size 5 needles, with a 1 x 1 rib.
