An alternative to other area arts festivals, the Bridgeport Arts Fest is an attractive venue for artists to exhibit and market their work in a vibrant, eclectic downtown setting. In addition to gallery quality fine art, the Arts Fest showcases a vast array of crafts and other handmade items such as: accessories, books, clothing, jewelry and other household and wearable items. You will only find original things made by original people!

A morning Arts Fest Bike Ride, led by local bicycle activist John Wilkins will depart from McLevy Green at 10AM. The Ride takes riders past the Ballpark at Harbor Yard to the Seaside Park bike trail, Captain's Cove and St. Mary's by the Sea, and back to McLevy Green and the Arts Fest.
The City of Bridgeport is turning the vacant lot at the corner of Gold & Main St. into a temporary pocket park. The site will be cleaned and improved with new turf, trees, sitting areas and waste and recycling bins. These exciting low-cost, high-impact projects will transform a listless corner of downtown into an attractive and active space, welcome to all!
