2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / my version of Meleriffic's newborn ruffle skirt from Tshirt sleeves on: May 21, 2011 09:41:59 PM
so i was browsing and i saw Meleriffic's post on the newborn ruffle skirt and headband that she made from the sleeves of a white tshirt. I loved it so much that i had to make one for my best friend who is having a little girl. She isnt big on the princess, girly girl look so i made a black one and used pink and black ribbon as the drawtring and there is a kitty skull on the side that i hand sewn on there. I hope yall like it!

sorry for that sideways pic....i had to use my phone Wink

8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / need help turning toddler clothes into baby clothes on: May 11, 2011 08:01:38 PM
so i have a few button down shirts that are about 24 months(maybe a little smaller or a little bigger) and i was wondering if i could make 0-3 month dresses out of them using the same concept as some ive found on here that use mens shirts into womens dresses. Does anyone have any hints or ideas or websites that could help me? Im new to the site and new to a sewing machine.
