4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Calendar and Baby Name Wooden Blocks on: January 15, 2011 08:07:36 PM
I recently found the blog Lark & Lola which has a ton of cute, easy projects. I made these calendar blocks for my desk at work and another set to add to my friend's baby shower gift next week! I definitely see myself making the calendar blocks as gifts for others, they are super easy and fun!

I've never done anything with stamping and I loved how easy it was to add something to the project , however I quickly realized making the calendar blocks that the stamp pad quality matters. I originally got a 3$ pad because I figured it wouldn't be a huge difference but boyyy I was mistaken. You can definitely tell the difference between the calendar blocks (except for the month ones) and the baby name ones. I went right back out and got a Staz On pad when I saw how faded everything was. Oh well, lesson learned! Smiley

and these are for Madison Riley Smiley

Recently I found the blog Lark & Lola which gave me a ton of ideas and one I was luckily able to make right away is this suitcase table! I needed some type of storage for all of our new Wii accessories and I found this suitcase at a great home consignment near me for only $15 Smiley
