Hi everyone I don't know who is still following this thread but I am going to post the awesome stuff that  mermaidcafe and my ANGEL atsuko sent me. Here is the package from mermaidcafe. She sent me a beautiful blue/green scarf and 2 pins to keep it on. As you can see one of them has already made it's way onto my favorite hat. she also sent a stack of paper. yay!


From atsuko i received an adorable pea pod pendant and twinkie chan's crochet book. I didn't know how much i needed this one until i got it. i made the hat for my daughter's 5th birthday from the book.

OK ladies it has been the best Valentines Day. The dh got me a new camera. No more busted pics from me of my wonderful swap goodies! I am so excited I can't even explain. Hope everyone had a great day and I should be back swapping soon.

I wonder if you got the clay if you could take it to a local high school or pottery studio and have them fire it for you??? Maybe if it is the high school you could offer to teach a class or donate some supplies in return?? I know that we had a kiln at our school so maybe. Just a thought. Hope you figure it out. OOOr get him a tattoo ring so that he can't lose it. You could put your fingerprint right on his finger. No mistaking who he belongs to then 

I received from mini_mum yesterday! She sent 2 sets of 3 bowl covers and some wonderful supplies. I am going to try and get pics this afternoon. Here in New England it is cold and grey so I am not sure how they will turn out! I do LOVE the bowl covers and their recipients are going to be thrilled. You nailed the colors lady! Nice job. Thank you thank you thank you!

On another note I just received a personal swap package from jo_mama! Just wanted to let you all know how wonderful she is!!!!!!!!!! it is awesome and after a brief heart attack at the postal service christmas can continue at this house.

Hey everyone! I've been totally lacking in updating you all in what is going on here. We have been so super busy and to top it all off our new (less than 7 month old) washer has stopped spinning. This is the third time it has broken on us in the 7 months we have had it. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. We have also had some minor repairs to both cars. It's Christmas time please give us a break! So with all of that I am afraid I won't be able to send frosty772's package until Friday. I feel like such a slacker. Anywho I hope that everyone has a safe and happy holiday season and I hope I can make it back into the next round!

Hi ladies! I am going to be super busy from now until about 7:30 am tomorrow morning. If you claim me thank you! I will try and get back on during the day to see if I need to add some items. No promises though. It all starts this am baking things with my aunt from 10-12 then working cleaning a house from 12-5 then I am going to be going with the whole family on the Polar Express from 7-9:30 then I am working from 11pm to 7:30 am. I know. If any of you have any left over energy that you are not using I could surely use some! Thanks in advance.

Hi Everybody!  A little about me…  My family and I live in New Hampshire and I am a crafty mother of 3 beautiful munchkins. A 6 y.o. boy, a 4 y.o. girl and an adorable 2y.o. girl. We are New Englanders through and through. I love to ski and snowboard in the winter and in the summer you can usually find us at the lake (when it is not raining and then you can find me in my craft room). New England sports are the greatest. The New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox are my favs!
   I don’t really have a favorite color. I like bright and bold for accessories but for decorating prefer beachy colors and reds. However my house isn’t decorated in seashells and seahorses. I just like the lightness that these colors bring. All time favorite color combo though is Chocolate brown and aqua. I sew,knit,crochet and papercraft. I do have a pinterest. A surprise from one of my boards would be fabulous!
I love to learn new things and will always try something once. If you have a craft you do and want to send a learn to… kit it would make me squee!  Now on to the important stuff! My wish list!

   We don’t have any allergies in our house and  we also love to reuse items so used and in good shape is always good! I will pass on anything that smells like mothballs though.
Anything that says I need 2 can be done in 2 claims. I am putting a lot of my Christmas crafting list on here so I can have a little help.

•   I need to have so many of these slippers I am planning on making 5 pair in different sizes. Two of them are for my girls

•   My bathroom is a disaster… We only have open shelves so a few smaller baskets would be wonderful. Could be fabric, metal, or woven with a liner.

•   Wall Art here’s a board for inspiration
•   B & W Flower photo prints at least 8x10. I’d be happy to frame them if you want to send them
•   Hand painted plaque for outside our door. Would love to have an Australian Cattle Dog with our last name above. Any New England image would be great though. PM me if you have an idea and we can chat!       
•   Christmas Ornaments (my goal is to eventually have all handcrafted ornaments)

Knit or Crochet
•   Wrist warmers would like bright colors (not neon) Cables would be cool but not necessary. I can’t wear 100% wool but wool blends are fine
•   Felted mittens: again bright colors fleece lined would be awesome but not necessary. These are great from reconned sweaters.  It gets really cold here.
•   Scarf soft and warm again bright colors
•   Hat: I know I make them but I really love hats and wear them constantly in the winter. I would love to see what others make me. I am not a fan of tams or loose fitting hats.
•   Dishcloths: lots and lots I do massive amounts of dishes

Healthy low carb cookbooks or recipes would be greatly appreciated!

Mini_mum no worries at all! I have been late the past few times and know exactly how it happens. I managed to finish the bag for atsuko yesterday. I do have to say I am a bit in love with the bag and am going to have a hard time putting in in an envelope and sending it off. I hope you love it to atsuko! I had such a panic because I hadn't realized that 2 weeks had gone by. Aaaargh the holidays are messing me up. One of these days I am going to finish early. I don't know if I am going to be in round 77 or not. I have so much christmas crafting to do. We'll see. I'll sign up and then if something strikes my fancy I'll hop on it!

Great job!  Is the turquoise band on the front functional, or is it for decoration or stability?

The turquoise band on the front is decorative. I thought it would break up the  expanse of the pattern and decided to accent the top of the biggest front pocket!
