1  Re: Little Visitor Round 17 - Summer Vacation! in The Swap Gallery by KodaNRoxyDogs on: July 08, 2013 05:51:24 PM
So, things are getting somewhat back to normal after our big move from an apartment to a house. I still can't find any of my dishes, or half of my things, but I am sure it will all turn up as we unpack. I DID find my laptop, so wanted to post a few pictures of Anuenue!

Not a stranger, but certainly strange! Anuenue riding the MAX in Portland. That is my strange brother, his wife, and my mommy in the background.

Hanging out at the Saturday Market in Portland

Anuenue hanging out with the dog with the Waggiest Tail in Eugene, Oregon! Loki, Anuenue and I went to Bark in the Park in May. We did a 1 mile walk with dogs, and then entered the Waggiest Tail contest. Loki won by crowd applause, and he was excited to celebrate his victory with Anuenue.

Here is Sluggo, the Eugene Emeralds baseball mascot. He was enjoying Bark in the Park festivities. We will be seeing more of him at the end of July, when we go to the annual Dog Days at PK Park baseball game, to benefit Greenhill Humane Society.

At the end of May, we went down to Grants Pass to visit my family. Each year they have Boatnik, a 4 day long celebration with a carnival, boat races, and more. Anuenue enjoyed watching the boat drags up the Rogue River:

The view from my parent's back porch never gets old. We had great weather all Memorial Day weekend.

We went to Boatnik one evening, and got some great views of the Rogue River at sunset.

Not "For Sale" anymore! This was the last day this sign was in front of our house. The next day, they removed it! I was hoping for a "Pending" sign, but they just removed the whole thing!

Things have somewhat settled down for us for now, so hoping we can get out and explore a little more soon, but wanted to share some of our adventures since Ive been in and out of internet service and super busy the past month.

I was able to get some pictures of Anuenue at work- and since I didn't post for weather,Im counting these for that too!

Anuenue hanging out at my desk, making friends with my Alligator from our Florida trip, my AFLAC duck, and the honey badger! ( He talks, but I didn't let him say mean things to Anuenue!) Had to cover some of the stuff on my screen- just in case dont want to get yelled at at work!

Anuenue was chilling on top of my paperwork. She was learning a little about the company and some geography too!  My desk was an absolute disaster zone this week. So so messy. But, I was super busy so I cant blame me!

And, the best part- the giant windows right behind my desk. Yep, I get an awesome view. And, for my weather entry- it has been beyond beautiful here the past few days. Cool and crisp in the morning, and warm in the afternoon. Perfect weather!

3  Re: How To Train Your Dragon Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by KodaNRoxyDogs on: April 29, 2013 09:00:03 PM
Sadly, I have not heard from my partner- so I am going to post pictures of the HTTYD stuff I crafted for her, because Im pretty happy with how it turned out!

The first is a hand painted box and four coasters. It was my first time making coasters, and I am really happy with how they turned out. I put felt on the back,so they looked really finished. The box has Viking runes for the names of the dragons that my partner liked. Pictured is Night Fury and Hiddeous Zippleback, but Thunderdrum and Monstrous Nightmare were also onthe box. The box top has Astrid and Hiccup, and the inside was all painted. The pictures were before I touched it up- when sealing it, I was silly and touched it, and made the paint smear. I forgot to get pictures after I touched it up.

As much as I really liked the coasters and box- I also hand painted a tote bag. I loved how this turned out, and will probably have to make another one for me. Especially since we just passed a plastic bag ban that will be in effect soon!

I had a good time crafting for this, even though I didn't make everything I wanted to! And, I hope that my partner liked what I made as well.

I LOVED everything Phoenix, and you really did an amazing job. Im still just in awe of how much you were able to do in 3 short weeks.

Finally, pictures!

One of my favorite pictures from the scrapbook- this was taken in a library, and the sign says it will be noisy. Im a nerd, I know but that made me seriously LOL.

I loved these Christmas shop pictures! I only took two photos of the scrapbook, but it was full of lovely pictures!

Here is all of the goodies. The mug has already been put to good use! I havent tried the marmalade or gum yet. I have no real reason why. I think Ill go open up the marmalade now...

And, the most amazing, beautiful, fantastic tree of life pendant ever!

I feel totally spoiled! Thank you again Phoenix!

So Anuenue, my fiance Brandon, our dog Loki, and myself headed to the coast for an evening last week.We live about an hour away from the Oregon coast. We ended up in Bandon, Oregon, which is a cute little town. Even though it rained nearly the whole time, we still had a great time. We stopped at the West Coast Game Park for a bit. They have lots of animals, including free-roaming deer, donkeys, llamas, and goats. There was a pregnant pygmy goat that followed us around, she was cute. They also have baby animals you can pet and hold. They had a skunk, possum, ferrets, baby bears, and a bobcat this time. They also have a lot of big cats that you can see. This is Anuenue checking out the Siberian tiger. We spent about 20 minutes watching him, he was beautiful!

We also enjoyed the beach for a little bit, even though it was super cold and rainy. Bandon has some neat rock formations in the water. This is Anuenue and "Wizards Hat". This was on the beach right in front of our hotel.

And,here is my "something blue"post! In addition to the deer, donkeys, goats, and llamas- there were tons of peacocks hanging out at the Game Park!

She actually got a kick out of it, and it entertained us as well!

Deer and I haven't had too many adventures yet,but we did pack up a box to ship to my brother and nephew, and she helped me cook dinner tonight! Here she is, sitting on the counter while I was slicing mushrooms and boiling water for spaghetti.

We will start having some more adventures soon!

9  Re: The Great Chainmaille Swap: Round 2 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by KodaNRoxyDogs on: September 14, 2012 04:11:00 PM
I posted in the discussion thread before I left, but I wanted to add the photos here as well for everyone to see the great things I got from Moriwen!

All my loot-

2 bracelets, 2 necklaces, and two scale flowers:

The bracelets-I love both of these, they are both so pretty and well done.

A necklace with a chainmail pendant and glass bead. This made me laugh, because I made her a necklace with a chain pendant, and a blue crystal too!

Kind of a bad picture, but this is the other necklace I received. It is small and large sections of chain in silver and blue. The whole necklace is completely chain. I love, love, love it! So much work had to have gone into this, and it is just beautiful!

Thanks again Jess, I love everything. Craftster twin love!

10  Re: The Great Chainmaille Swap Round Two (Sign Ups Closed, Send Out 9/1) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by KodaNRoxyDogs on: September 05, 2012 10:48:25 PM
Its possible I just missed the gallery ( im going on about 22 hours no sleep, and about as many hours work in the past two days)- but since i will be out of town for the next week, I wanted to post the lovely things that I got from my most amazing Craftster twin, Moriwen! I will post to the gallery when I get back, or if you have pics and also want to post in there Jess, please feel welcome to. I just had to share!

Heres all my loot:

two necklaces, two bracelets, and some super cute flowers!

Heres a close up of the two bracelets- so pretty

And the chainmail pendant neckalce:

And finally.. the most amazing all chain necklace ever. Seriously, this picture does not do it justice. I literally "squee!!!"ed when I saw it- you can even ask my fiance. He was kind of confused..lol. This is just so... awesome. I always mean to make myself an all chain necklace that I can wear with different things, and I never do. And, this is totally perfect. It had just a hint of pretty blue, and it will work with pretty much everything! ( excuse my messy counter, I had to take a picture really quick so I could post!

Thank you so much for such awesome items,Jess. I really love everything!
