I don't recognise the song but it's a really nice quote, lovely to see it displayed in such an original way too. Really inspired!

Thank you! It's taken me just over a week, this weekend I got really in to it, it's good having a deadline to work to, I'm not always very good at finishing projects!

gbean - I just made it up as I went along to be honest, I didn't plan on making them so detailed, I was worried with the collaging that it might end up looking a bit like the nursery classroom I work in! But I'm glad I did, I think it turned out pretty grown up in the end  Tongue

I've really enjoyed making my entry. I work in a primary school and am currently on my summer holidays, it's been really good having time to get creative after a stressful school term!

This is a slightly altered quote from one of my favourite songs (Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zero's - Home)

This 'E' took the most time because the card was so thick, I had to hammer the holes out first. Very tedious!

Flower pot and mendhi.

Computer games and my home!

'O' is Alice in wonderland with the rabbit hole.. (my name is Alice)

In context.

I drew the letters freehand on to thick card. Then cut out and decorated. I wanted it to be personal, so many of the letters are based on things I love.

The tree branch is not included in this entry (i'm just running out of wall space!) that was crafted a few months ago. (It's made with thread wrapped around pins)

Thanks for looking!

Pink hair - had it like this for 7 years, I loved it but I'm now back to brown and enjoying the anonymity it brings! (and no more dying my roots every three weeks!)

wow! I just did something similar for my boyfriends birthday card, but I much prefer how yours turned out. I used a laminator to sandwich elements inside, like birds and snow, it worked with varying degrees of success. Yours looks great!
