1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: A Simon of his very own on: September 05, 2016 11:07:00 AM
Thanks guys!
And that is exactly what I see him as, except maybe mischievous instead of truly evil.  Grin
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / A Simon of his very own on: September 01, 2016 06:29:14 PM
My cousin Russ lost his sweet cat of many years just before his first baby was born.  So, I made baby Conrad a softie Simon of his very own.

3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Halloween pumpkin sculpt with tutorial on: August 27, 2014 07:14:23 AM
I love the way these fellas look. And, I learned something!  I didn't know that you could bake your clay in stages!  (I've been scared of overbaking and messing things up, so the few times I've tried it, I've done it all at once.)  This will make things so much better!   Thanks. Smiley
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Re: Dancing Baby Groot! on: August 27, 2014 07:06:30 AM
He looks great!  You did a good job!
5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Yet another Grootling! (I had to have one!) on: August 23, 2014 06:23:20 PM
Baby Grootlings are probably being made right and left, so you all have probably already seen a few on here. However, you have yet to see mine!  The only other sculpting I've done is a Crawling Eye I created for a swap a while back, so I am still a clay sculpting newbie.  I am really satisfied with the way he turned out though.  Just looking at him makes me happy. Smiley

Hey ya'll!  I got home from a trip to my Dad's for Thanksgiving and guess what? My package was waiting for me then I walked in the door!  Whoot!
So, without further ado.. Here is my loot!  Grin

Firstly, even my box was decorated with kyoote little Monstas...

I opened it up and ... everything was wrapped with assorted ribbon and this nifty blue fabric!

Check this little guy out!  He's got a mustache!  How adorable is that?!

Next a package of fuzzy softness... It's a MonstaScarf!  He's all laid back, with this droopy eyes and bucky teeth. Smiley

glitter_is_good sent me an umbrella!  This little fellow is precious. Just look!  I don't know if I can bear to take it out in the rain.   I am tempted to cut him out and frame him!

And last but not least, I got my very first Monsta Painting!  I have named him Sigred, and he is going up in my craft room. He even has his every own balloon animal!

The Group Shot

Thanks so much for being my partner glitter_is_good!  And thanks go to our organizer too!  This has been bunches of fun!

Thanks!  I had such a good time crafting for my partner.

She asked for a tee for her boyfriend and said that they both liked old B-movie monsters- The Killer Shrew and the Crawling Eye and such.  You can see which monsta I went with there.  Grin

Here are a few more shots of da stuff.

And the obligatory CrafsterGroupShot!
