So, I was going to put this under "playthings" but I think that pertains mostly to toys and I'm looking for activities.
See, I'm throwing an engagement party for my sister and there is supposed to be about 9 or 10 children there ranging from age 5 to 10. I know, what a range, right?? And at least three of them are high functioning "special needs".
The problem is that there will be minimal supervision for the kids regarding games and crafts so I'm looking for something that they can enjoy on their own without biting each others heads off while my sister and her FH play "who can finish the Sangria" (they're not lushes, I just make an awesome sangria
). Thus far, I have:
- A coloring/activity book
-The paper table cloth
-Bubbles
-Sidewalk chalk
If anyone has ANY ideas that can help both the parents and kids have a better time, I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks a ton,
WB
