It's a free Lion Brand pattern. You can find it here: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/L10743.html

It took a full 6 skeins of LB Tweed Stripes to finish this, and unfortunately I only had 5 of the same color. Oh well. The last 10 inches in the back are Tundra (not Woodlands, like the rest), but its not very noticeable as Woodlands has a lot of browns in it. Love the final result. I didnt like how the slip stitches made a ridge on the seam, so I undid that and whip stitched it instead on the wrong side with a flatter result. Very cozy and warm and is what I wear around the house when the temps dip down low (like they have been lately!).

C&C welcome!

This is so clever! I love it! The way it folds into a loaf is just adorable.

Saw something similar in a craft magazine, but didn't include any instructions. After trying to recreate them, I can see why! It took me a lot of trial and error to finally get these 2 made for Christmas gifts. I do plan to make one for myself eventually - hopefully in time for next Christmas!

The blue balloon went to my sister, who loves teal and owls. The balloon part is just a glass ornament turned upside down. Wire, craft paper and tape, metal tags, and small paper "treat" cups were used for the rest. The hardest part was getting all the wire to cooperate! I stuffed in some fiberfill to hide the wires on the inside of the "basket." The little "flags" are pieces of map scrapbook paper.

The gold balloon went to my mother. In the second picture you can see the little bird that hangs from the front, but you can't see many more details because of the tree (took that photo first before realizing I needed a plain background in order to show the details). I left the ornament the original gold color, and these pics are before I had the idea to include fiberfill, which not only hides the insides, but gives a nice "clouds" effect I think.

Thanks for looking! C&C welcome!

I'm in! I started one of these a long time ago, and it's been hibernating too long. I just hope I can pull together all the stash yarn I have in a pleasing color arrangement. Here's where I left off:

It's a Lion Brand pattern. It can be found here: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/90360AD.html?noImages=

The comments from other people who made this on Ravelry were very helpful in getting this finished.

Found an old poncho my mother crocheted for me when I was little up in the attic. Using that as a guide, decided to make one for my niece. The yarn is super soft and I love the variegated colors in the yarn.

20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Angel Wings Pinafore and Dress - 4 photos on: October 09, 2013 07:44:43 AM
Pattern found on Ravelry. Made for my niece for her first birthday. Pattern works up very easy, which is why I made 2! The pattern is for a pinafore, but a simple alteration to the pattern makes a dress. The good thing is that while it fits perfectly as a dress now, she'll be able to wear it as a sort of swing top as she gets older/taller! No pics of her wearing it - she was a bit fussy that day Smiley

Pinafore back - I love the little owl buttons!
