1  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Homemade snickers bars!!! on: May 23, 2012 01:08:50 PM
OMG, those look divine!

As for the Corelle, I tell brides to avoid it because it NEVER breaks and you'll be stuck with what you liked when you were a naive child bride, not the sophisticate you turn into when you hit 40/50/60.  *snort*  Yeah, once my kids got beyond dish-breaking age I ditched the stuff at Goodwill and got the breakable stuff so I could change dishes when my taste changed.  "Oh, honey, look how many plates are chipped or cracked.  We need new ones."
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Monster Pouch Swap GALLERY! on: March 20, 2012 01:26:37 PM
Got my package from imebears last week and the pink Kindle monster fairly leapt from the box.  Very creative with its tail doing double duty as the handle.  The little pincushion is cute, the granddog had a bit of a chew on the fuzzy part but I saved it.  Whew.  Good thing she only plays with things.

Finished my swap today (never met a deadline I didn't want to meet in person--at the last second!) and will mail it off as soon as I've posted here.  Thanks, imebears, for the monster.
3  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Post Apocalypse/Zombie Slaying Family!!! (PIC-HEAVY) on: March 01, 2012 02:07:38 PM
The family that slays together stays together?  And I thought we were avant garde when we all learned to SCUBA dive and went diving all the time.  Awesome pics.
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: dorothy parker sweater!! on: March 01, 2012 01:45:35 PM
I am humble in your presence.  I have done one sweater front and back in Fair Isle and I don't care if I ever do another stitch of that demon technique.  My hands ache just thinking about it.  Your sweater is bee-utiful.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Fingerless Mitts + Sad Turned Happy on: March 01, 2012 01:42:20 PM

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Green Cabled Afghan of Awesomeness! on: March 01, 2012 01:39:58 PM
When we pointed out mistakes in our work my grandpa always said, "A man running for his life will never notice it."  I think your afghan is lovely.  Only a dirty rat fink would look over it to find a miss-crossed cable.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Cloud Bolero, finally finished! on: March 01, 2012 01:37:45 PM
Sigh.  Red and black are two of my favorite flavors of yarn.  Very pretty.

10  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: LIP BALM RECIPE on: March 01, 2012 01:26:23 PM
Grin Awesome tute! Quick question though, where would one find those lip balm tubes.... I have been looking Smiley I am in the US"

I buy my supplies and tubes from Majestic Mountain Sage online.  They have everything for lotion, soap, and lip balm crafting.
