finally dug out an old project that was too daunting and gave it a go! i had troubles with my cheapy sewing machine with the hemming which was so frustrating. but its finally done... let me know what you think!!

i kinda like how it turned out but i wish i knew how to attach little cap sleeves! any tips from experienced sewers out there?

i attempted my first sewing project using a pattern from burdastyle. bonus was that it was a free pattern! it took me mighty long and quite a few alterations to get to the final result.





just wondering what kind of fabric do people usually use as lining? cotton? polyester?
