1  Re: A Very Dishalicious Dishcloth/Washcloth Swap Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by pharasalia on: July 01, 2007 04:51:54 PM
I finally received from Mint, the post going to/from Australia can be a bit slow =)  I received this great lacy red knit cloth.  Unfortunately I don't think I took a picture of the one I sent her... I'll double check for it...   Anywho, here is the great cloth I received from down under!

2  Re: Dragon Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by pharasalia on: June 12, 2007 07:35:14 AM
I was just coming to post pics and you beat me to it hehe. I'm so glad you liked the 'loot'.  Sorry - pirates on the brain!

Here are some pics of the gorgeous items I received in exchange.... I got a very cool dragon embroidered (does that count as embroidery?) tote bag which I've already started using for crochet and knitting projects as well as a wooden chest/box painted with a celtic dragon on the lid and lined with fabric. I also received a nice little card and a fabric bracelet/cuff with the kanji symbol for dragon embroidered on it.  Thank you so much!!

3  Re: my country doesn't have that round 7 in The Swap Gallery by pharasalia on: January 04, 2007 07:35:06 AM
I got my great package from Rosali before Christmas but have been away from the computer so much over the holidays I didn't get on here to post my pics.. sorry for the delay!

I'm sorry the pic is so small. I lost the cable to my digital camera and can't get the pics off it lol so I took this with my phone. Included in the package is:
-a very cute friendly card telling me about my items and saying hello
-yummy kinder chocolate (omg, I LOVE the hippo!)
-cadbury caramel and some fruit candy
-british tea!
-a gorgeous purple crown magnet
-queen stationary and pens from Buckingham palace and Clarence house.
-a needlepoint kit of the famous Buckingham palace guards! Can't wait to try it, I'm normally a knitter!
-Queen mints and royal playing cards from Buckingham palace

Thank you SO much for the GREAT package!!

4  Princess Snowball Cat Bed in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by pharasalia on: October 24, 2006 11:57:50 AM
OMG I'm SOO happy I finished this hehe. I had this sitting on sticks for almost a year.. I found it to be pretty boring once I got to the long colored section so I kept putting it down and ignoring it lol. But the kitties are enjoying it already so it was worth getting it off my sticks lol.

I used Lion Brand Wool Ease in white w/ white fun fur for the circle base and Wool Ease in Blush Heather w/ violet fun fur for the main piece. I made the large size because my one cat is pretty big but he fits in it with room to spare.

5  My first FOs! in Knitting: Completed Projects by pharasalia on: January 19, 2006 09:32:52 PM

My fuzzy mary jane slippers! My first finished project really.

My snb marsupial tote. I used Brown Sheep pink and purple and used a strand of crystal palace fling along with the pink for the little something extra lol. I'm so proud of it. Now I think I can actually tackle intarsia and even a shrug lol. And maybe soon *gasp* socks!

So what do you think?

6  First ever FO! Marsupial Tote in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by pharasalia on: January 19, 2006 09:28:57 PM

This is the first FO I've ever posted! My first purse. I used Brown Sheep pink and purple and then used a strand of crystal palace fling in the pink for a little something extra.

I'm pretty new at knitting. I started out practicing by making that garter stitch head kerchief thingy. Hated the way it turned out. Then I tried that scarf that changes colors a bunch of times to get practice doing color changes. It looked ok but there were a few dropped stitches in it.  I got the princess snowball bed sitting on sticks in my basket to finish but put it aside to make this tote first lol.

So what do you think?
