11  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: PerlerBead Sonic the Hedgehog Box 15 hours of work! on: July 19, 2011 10:57:34 AM
I am gobsmacked at how awesome this box is, your son is sooo lucky!
I just saw Oodelally's Mario sprites which really made me want to play with perler beads, and after seeing your awesome box I have to say that my first project with them is going to be highly ambitious... read that as probably extremely stupid for a beginner ;P
Now I just have to find a dragon pattern that I can simplify into perler colours. Oh and of course the beads Tongue
One more time... AWESOME!!!
12  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Mario and Princess Peach Bead Sprites *with pattern* on: July 19, 2011 10:48:36 AM
Wow! I can't believe how close to 'real' they are, your shading is spot on Cheesy
I've never tried perler beads but I'm definitely wanting to play with them now... might have to check the craft store stocktake sales ;P
These are awesome and I am now so totally planning to go see them in person Grin
Melbourne, Australia right?
13  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Crocheted bottle holder on: July 19, 2011 01:12:12 AM
For your first crocheted project you've done bloody well! The fact that you also changed the pattern for your first go at it is brilliant too.
It's a very pretty little bottle holder and you should be very proud of it.
P.S. Love the scrappy fabric bow ;P
14  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Altered Puzzle Pieces - Round 3 GALLERY on: July 18, 2011 02:52:03 AM
This is such an awesome idea! Altered puzzles... who woulda thunkit?(oh wait, we're on Craftser ;P)
I love MunLtStmpr's completed puzzle. Did it have a theme or was it artists' choice? Because somehow it fits together beautifully.
All of the pieces are just wonderful! I'm already hovering around the next gallery Cheesy
I'll have to join one of these someday, and am already planning out an attack on nearby $2 stores >.>
15  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Zevran and Jowan from Dragon Age: Origins on: July 11, 2011 07:23:25 PM
:O !!!!!!!!!
I am sitting here trying desperately not to squeak with glee because my brother is sick in the next room, but it's sooooo hard!
I love your Zev! His braid and ears and tattoo, his belts and straps and buckles, his breast plate and skirting and shoes, and Oh My Word his hands! His little fingers sticking out of the gloves Cheesy
The detailing is incredible! If he'd been this cute in game, I would of dumped Alistair in a heart beat ;P
Can't wait to see your next creations, also I love you for making these XD
16  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing ATC Swap - JUNE, 2011 on: June 29, 2011 10:55:32 PM
I've been checking this gallery every day for new Lovelies and I have to say that you are all just incredible artists.
All the ATC's have been brilliant, they are so pretty and so clever.
Will definitely have to try to join in for the next round, although with the quality artwork I've seen I now understand swap anxiety ;P
17  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Princess Zelda from Skyward Sword on: June 29, 2011 10:44:47 PM
So I've never played any of the Zelda games, shame on me I know Tongue, but if the characters are half as cute as your representation of them I might have to try one!
She really is an awesome little doll, the collar and cuffs and hems and her belt and her hair and and and... I could go on and on!
She's beautiful, hope you make more Cheesy
18  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Plumato, the cheshire gargoyle on: June 12, 2011 11:45:12 PM
He is DIVINE!!! I must have one (or two, or three....)
He is so utterly gorgeous I can't believe he wasn't exactly what you planned and trying everything at once?? It certainly worked well for you ;P

You are BRILLIANT!

P.S. I am not ashamed to say I was actually squeaking with glee when I saw him Cheesy
19  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Mulan on: June 12, 2011 10:48:27 PM
So pretty! Her sleeves and layered dress are done beautifully.
Your Disney dolls are extraordinary, I think that makes you extra-extraordinary, doesn't it? Grin
20  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Princess Dolls! on: June 11, 2011 01:02:27 AM
They're beautiful! I could tell from the piccie on the home page that it was Esmeralda Cheesy
The puffy sleeves and ruffles on the dresses are awesome and their hair is perfect!
Are you giving them faces or keeping them blank?
All over beautiful, well done!
*covets* ;P
