This is beyond awesome sauce! I'm curious...what count fabric did you use?

This brings back memories from my childhood! My mom made one of these, a donut with frosting and sprinkles, and a couple oreo cookies. Thanks for the flashback!

I found a Doe-C-Doe pattern (it's after the deer-head thingy: http://doecdoe.blogspot.com/2010/02/thursday-embroidery_25.html ) and decided it needed to be cannibalized/goth-a-cized. Since I've been lurking around here forever, I figured it was time I shared something of my own.

It was my husband's idea to let the little one play Alex DeLarge.
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Quick Crayon tinted project. on: July 06, 2011 08:53:02 PM

Have you tried doing it in layers?  I'll color it in and Iron it, then do it again.  I think I did it 3 times on this one.  Its great for blending colors.  Smiley

I'll definitely have to try that. Thanks!

That is gorgeous! I wish I could get my crayon tints that even. Very jealous over here.

I'm absolutely in love with everything you've posted on here...and on your blog. The confidence you exude has made me decide to embrace my own curvy figure and poo-poo on the people who give me mean looks. Thanks!
