1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Mumford and Sons Swap Gallery on: November 14, 2011 02:23:20 PM
I'm so so sorry it has taken me so long to post these pictures. I've been absolutely swamped in end of year exams and assignments at university. I absolutely love the package MizzKodak sent me though, and so many of the things have already found their homes in my room!

This is an amazing song with an amazing sentiment, and you can tell just how much work you put into all of those little pictures. I love that you incorporated more than just the chorus too. Awesome. This Rocks! Smiley

I am absolutely in awe of those embroidered cards kawoosh_girl! The one of Winnie is my favourite (also helps that he's my favourite band member...) And I love the papercutting sarabunny did! This gallery is full of fantastic things really Smiley

That embroidery is absolutely stunning, Britt! I'm in awe of all the different stitches and type faces and everything. So cool. I also love that "Stars hide your fires" was written in red ink to make it stand out. An amazing start to the gallery, and a sure-fire way to kick swap anxiety into high gear haha

I've only got one more thing to finish up! I'm using finishing it as a reward for making it through this next week of assignments and tests at university. I'm hoping to send out at the start of the last week Smiley

I just so happen to have Project Runway playing in the background right now, so this was an epic coincidence. I think you did a great job embroidering Tim! Your stitching looks so neat. Your partner was really lucky and you so definitely made it work! Smiley

I love those Take Away Show videos. Extra bonus that Johnny is a part of that one too Smiley

In terms of crafting, I think I know what I'm doing so its just a matter of fine-tuning the plans and getting supplies once pay day comes around! So excited!

I'm so jealous of all of the opportunities you guys have to go to gigs! The nearest big time gigs (like the one I'm going to on Thursday) are in completely separate countries! Definitely takes a toll on the pockets! I'd love to be able to road trip to gigs, especially to experience something that sounds as amazing as the Railroad Revival Tour was. Sarabunny, do you reckon the Decemberists are the best group you've seen live?

And calluna, thank you for making me laugh like a mad thing. Awesome Smiley
