Congratulations on your first project!  Sewing is great therapy, and remaking old clothes is definately cool.

Put mine in the mail today!  I work so slowly it only ended up being 9 pages long.  But they're really thick pages so it looks like a real book.  I wish I could have seen more of other people's work here because I won't be able to see any in person.  I live too far way from any of the cities.

One of the reasons I signed up was because London was one of the cities, and I thought I probably won't ever get to London but at least my book will! But alas our books are not going overseas.  Oh well!

You had me at "reading fort."

What a lovely idea this is! I'm sure they loved how you included all their favorite things.  I have the same problems with gluing I think, like when you glue a whole page then try to fold it and it the seam just isn't right, so I don't have an answer for you.  It is adorable anyway!

Thanks, Everyone!

Flo, I appaud your courage in making and sharing those pages. What a great thing it is that making art about terrible things in our lives can be cathartic.

My theme is Life Underground, which I meant to be symbolic when I picked it, but all I've been able to do are things that are literally underground, like burowing animals and an egyptian tomb:

Flo, I love your pages.  The colors, and how the words wind through each page.  Makes me feel ashamed I haven't touched mine for months.

I was working on it at the very beginning and got a few pages done, then got stuck.  Maybe I'll post what I've done in an effort to get back into it.

It's beautiful!  Nice fabric choice, and it's interesting both from the front and back.

This is really inspiring.  I'm always amazed when people make such tiny things!  I like how you combined the themes too.

I love these!  Such a good use for leftover little pieces of paper that are too cute to throw away.  I might be stealing this for Christmas.
