3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Dawn Griffith's 3X3 mini album with inchies on: May 21, 2011 08:25:02 PM
Here is a link to her tutorial:

Her tutorials are amazing.  Here are my 2 books completed.  Same papers, just some minor differences and I included inchies to decorate inside both books.  Sorry the one picture is a little dark.

Hobby Lobby and Joann's both carry them.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Cheytown inspired girls dresses from men's dress shirts on: May 17, 2011 09:19:10 PM

I made 2 dresses so far.  Here are pictures of both dresses and then more shots of the top of the blue one with the collar from the man's shirt added.  I thought it turned out pretty cute!

The Hawaiian Shirt is a size 8 dress and the white with floral print is a size 3T.
6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Made a treasury? List it here! on: May 15, 2011 02:17:41 PM
I made a treasury!  Here is the link:

http://www.etsy.com/treasury/4dcc427d8db66d91982195ec/six-sheiks-chic-sheep

So, how do ou get more people to view your treasury?  What is a good number of views.  What does it mean when it says 7 clicks.  Does that mean that 7 people have clicked on an item in the treasury?

Thanks!

I think this is cool!  I would SOOO pick up a kit with a "I'm FREE" sign on it.  I would leave a few around and stay close to watch and see if anyone looked at it, etc.  You could leave one in a coffee shop and sit near by and watch what happened.  You could leave it on a bench in a busy area of the park.  You need to come up with a catchy name like CraftCharity, CraftActivitivism, CraftActivist, CraftAdvocate, CraftWarrior, CraftPeddler, CraftVisionary, CraftZealot, CraftEnthusiast, CraftFanatic, CraftChampion, CraftEvangelist, CraftPatron, CraftPimp, CraftPusher, CraftExtremist, CraftApostle.  Make a little logo, put it on the bag and go for it!!!

Can DEF make throw pillows from some of them.  Just sew two together  to make reversable pillows or sew each one to a neutral background.

a pet bed!  make a box to mount on top of 4 legs, then make a cushion to put in it.

If you want to get rid of the glass, you could upholster some plywood with batting and fabric to mimic the newer look tables that also serve as seating.  I would definitely paint it.  Pastels are in this season.  If you do not like the bumpy accents on the sides, you can cover them up with small pieces of plywood, chipboard or other flat surface before painting.
