Wow average_fan, I just love those colors and designs! Very well done. Smiley I look forward to seeing what you and Acadian Driftwood make for each other!

Everything in this gallery is so awesome. I've never tried Tim Tams, now it sounds like I might have to!

I wish I could join in on the craft room fun, but I really don't have a craft room. I have boxes and bins stashed all throughout the house, and when I need something I fetch that box and work in the living room. :-P My husband, on the other hand, has quite the workshop...I should really take a pic of his! He has a thriving Etsy business, and has turned half of our (very large) attic into his workspace. He's much more organized and systematic than I.

So glad you like them!  They make the best pimento cheese if you are so inclined.   Smiley

OK. I just used the pepper flakes MissingWillow sent me in tonight's dinner, and HOLY COW - sooooo good, and so hot! I took her advice and used half what I would use with "normal" flakes, and boy I'm glad I did. Smiley But my husband and I both agreed that this was the first time pepper flakes actually added flavor to a dish, beyond just heat. What a treat!

Uuuuugh I'm chanting this, too. We just got back from HP world in Orlando, and it was AMAZING. And it majorly re-ignited my love of all things Harry Potter. But my work schedule this month is intense, I have finals for grad school, I'll be out of town for a week, and I'm already in another swap...I just can't. Sad

Here is the wonderful little cactus pincushion sent to me by LaChapa!

As you can see, I put him right to work. Smiley I love it!!

Well, I get to start this gallery out with a bang! I received from MissingWillow today - I absolutely LOVE everything! I also have major swap anxiety now since her sewing and gardening abilities are clearly superior to mine!!

First, these unbelievable prayer flags/garden sign - combines two things I've wanted for my yard forever, and I just adore them! It's a little hard to read with the lighting, but it says "Eat the yard." I'm going to hang it over my garden!

She made me this precious little chandelier/sun-catcher for a fairy garden. I can't wait to "hang" it! Smiley

Finally, she sent me some seeds from her award-winning heirloom tomatoes and some super-hot crushed red pepper flakes from her farm. I'm going to start the tomatoes today! I'm a little scared to try the pepper flakes based on her description, but I love spicy food, so I'm sure they'll be a hit.

Thanks for the amazing package, MissingWillow! Smiley

Thanks for all the tips on what to grow in little pots! Hoping to get to the garden center today to see what the Memorial Day masses left for me...

I finished one of my bigger items yesterday, pretty pleased with how it turned out! Smiley

We've grown cucumbers, hot peppers, herbs and tomatoes in 8 inch and larger containers.

Wow, I can't believe you have so much success with veggies in containers! I tried when we were living in TX and only had an apartment, but my constant watering was no match for the intense heat there.

I should be more specific...these are tiny ornamental ceramic planters. The biggest one is 8 in., the rest are all like 5 in. I don't think veggies would be happy in there (maybe herbs, but I already have a ton of those). I'm thinking more flowers/ornamental plants. Thoughts?
