Crazyalien8 chose my sweet tooth theme for the inchies (aren't they gorgeous?) And she used my fairy tale theme for the ATC!


Beautifully Frayed did a few of each of my themes. She chose my 80s (I LOVE JEM!!), sweet tooth, I Love Lucy, penguin and fairy tales!



I am in LOVE with the ATC she sent me!


She also threw in a few extras: a care bear she coiuldn't use and an adorable inchie made by her daughter!

Sweet tooth theme. I love the glitter for sprinkles and the whipped cream on the pie! So cutie! And a little Bertie Bott Every Flavor Bean!


Fairy Tale Theme. I saw the top picture first and thought it was adorable but then when I moved onto the next, I practically squealed! I love how her hair flows through all the inchies!

This is my second attempt at cross stitch. The first cross stitch I did was of Eeyore and it was not a very good likeness of him, but I enjoyed making him. I picked up a cross stitch magazine and found this pattern. It seemed simple enough and it didn't take me long to finish it. I'm really pleased with it. I only messed up a few times and only 1 of those times I wasn't able to go back in and fix it because it was too late when I noticed it...and I didn't want to mess with that since I have no idea what I'm doing yet.



Some of the stitches aren't very tidy but I figure I'll get better with some practice.

I've become obsessed with inchies since I joined this site and there's a Beginner's Inch Swap that I will be able to join once my 1 month waiting period is over. But this swap also requires that you make ATCs and I've never made an ATC. I was a little worried about joining a swap that requires me to send an item that I've never made before (especially since I am not an artist!), so I decided to have a test-run today on making some. I have to say, it was pretty darn fun! This might be my next big obsession.

I do apologize for the blurriness of the photos. I took them with my phone because I couldn't find my camera. I'm pretty sure my husband lost it. 

I decided I'd make a few cupcake ATCs. This pink one was the first. I hadn't added the words yet and it looked kind of plain to me so the idea to call it "Pretty in Pink" struck me. I'm not sure why the corners rolled up on this one, but I plain on sticking it underneath some heavy books to flatten it back out.


Well, after naming my first ATC "Pretty in Pink," I knew I'd have to go with a common theme for my next one (because I'm anal like that) so here is "Sixteen Candles."
