More than halfway finished with my craft item. It has taken a while to get this far on it, but I like the progress. I'm also picking up teas and stashing them in a big ziplock until I figure out what way to present everything
I discovered the wonders of tea in high school after experimenting with new things to drink, when soda was all the rage. I loved chai so much I scared my dad by drinking like 6 cups a day, and to this day I drink around 4 cups of various kinds of tea daily. I never have an empty tea kettle on the stove.
Hey crafty people. I've been trying to learn the crocodile stitch so I can make an adorable little mermaid tail for my baby girl due in January, but I'm frustrated with tutorials on youtube. I keep trying and trying and failing. I also haven't found a tutorial for the actual mermaid's tail, just the specific stitch, and I don't have $$ to dish out on patterns on etsy or other sites. If anyone on here has made one and knows a good way to learn how please help me. LOL sorry I sound very pathetic, I'm just frustrated.
aww! Yayy! I'm a needer for sure! We just moved up to Salem, Oregon from the central coast of CA in August. Our moving truck was tiny and a lot of my craft supplies and other near and dear things weren't as important as some of my hubbie's expensive work equipment(we moved his whole business and our apartment in the same 16 foot penske!) A lot of it was given to friends down south or put on the curb. Even my biorb fish tank! SAD FACE! So I am using bare minimum and recycling crap I find to craft. I have a low income as well, but I am always in the mood for painting and sewing, crocheting and doing mixed media. I love this swap.
Check out my art blog maybe you'll get an idea for something you want me to do.
