Hi there! 
I'm looking for advice on doing craft related blog giveaways.  My blog and site, Professor Pincushion, is still a baby and I thought doing giveaways would be a nice thing to do in order to get the word out about its existence.  Currently, I'm trying to give away this pillow I've made: 

Unfortunately, this giveaway is going the same way as my last giveaway in that I can't seem to generate any interest or participation, other than that of my mother.  I've tried to make my giveaways as easy as possible, ("like" Professor Pincushion's page on fb, follow on twitter, or just leave a comment on my pillow blog entry).  And I've made a post about it on as many craft, sewing related forums as I can.  Other than that, I don't know what else I can do and, so far, the results are pretty discouraging.  (I've participated in other blogs' giveaways and see how popular they can be.)  But for me, I'm finding that it really is hard to give something away.  Does anyone have any tricks that I'm just missing out on?  Any help would be so much appreciated.  Thank you!!!

I made this shoebag so that I would no longer just toss my nice shoes into my suitcase.  Now they travel in more style than myself.  This bag was easy to make and I enjoyed doing freezer paper stenciling.  Click on the link to check out the free video tutorial and pattern.  It's for the basic shoebag I created, but you could easily add a handle to this if you wished.

I just finished making this kangaroo apron this weekend and I love it!  Is it weird that I want to wear it all the time?  Grocery shopping, getting my oil changed, going to check the mail....There are some things that just put a smile on your face and you don't want to fight it.

My precious apples are now protected against unnecessary bruising from rattling around in my lunch box all day.  I've made simpler apple cozies with with handles so they could be carried on their own but I made these a little bit more elaborate in time for easter.  I love the bunnies in love and they'd look adorable in an easter basket so that kids won't just eat candy!  It definitely makes a healthy alternative more fun for the kiddies.
